CONGRATULATIONS AND BEST WISHES TO MR. MIRZA FAKHRUL ISLAM ALAMGIR
On behalf of the Rohingya community, we extend our sincere congratulations and best wishes to Mr. Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on his recent political achievement and wish him wisdom, strength, and success in his service to the people of Bangladesh.
Bangladesh has demonstrated remarkable humanitarian solidarity by providing refuge and essential assistance to more than one million Rohingya refugees who were forced to flee persecution, violence, and grave human rights violations in Myanmar. We remain deeply grateful to the Government and people of Bangladesh for their continued humanitarian support and hospitality.
At the same time, the Rohingya people continue to face a prolonged humanitarian crisis. Our fundamental aspiration is to return safely, voluntarily, and with dignity to our ancestral homeland, Arakan (Rakhine State, Myanmar), with full rights, security, citizenship, and meaningful guarantees for a sustainable future.
We therefore respectfully hope that Bangladesh’s leadership will continue to advocate strongly for a safe, voluntary, dignified, and sustainable repatriation process, while engaging constructively with relevant stakeholders, Myanmar, and the international community.
We also hope that Bangladesh will continue to support international efforts toward justice, accountability, protection of human rights, and recognition of the fundamental rights and legitimate aspirations of the Rohingya people.

We wish Mr. Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir continued wisdom and success in his public service and hope that Bangladesh will continue to stand for humanitarian values, peace, justice, and a durable solution to the Rohingya crisis.
