Singapore-based magazine Asian Scientist has published a list of the Top 100 Asian scientists for their significant contributions to research. Three Bangladeshi scientists were included in the list, among them Dr. Mohammad Abbas Uddin Shiyak, Associate Professor of the Department of Dyes and Chemical Engineering at Bangladesh University of Textiles.
