Stop using “Important” everywhere in IELTS Writing 🚫 👩‍🏫

Try these instead:

🔹 Important → Crucial
🔹 Important → Essential
🔹 Important → Significant
🔹 Important → Vital
🔹 Important → Valuable
🔹 Important → Influential

Example:

“Education is very important.” ❌
“Education is extremely crucial for personal development.” ✅

IELTS Reading এ ভালো score করতে চাইলে যে specific strategies follow করা খুব important 🔥 👇

1. Passage পড়া শুরু করার আগে সবসময় question গুলো আগে দেখে নিন। এতে পড়ার সময় কোন information important সেটা সহজে বুঝতে পারবেন।

2. Reading করার সময় name, year, place, number বা capital letter থাকা word গুলোতে focus করুন। বেশিরভাগ answer এই ধরনের keyword এর আশেপাশেই থাকে।

3. Matching Heading question এ প্রথমে পুরো paragraph না পড়ে প্রথম এবং শেষ line পড়ুন। এতে main idea দ্রুত বুঝতে সুবিধা হবে।

4. TRUE / FALSE / NOT GIVEN answer করার সময় নিজের opinion ব্যবহার করবেন না। শুধু passage এ যেটা দেওয়া আছে সেটার উপর ভিত্তি করে answer করুন।

5. Unknown word দেখলে panic হওয়ার প্রয়োজন নেই। পুরো sentence এর meaning বুঝার চেষ্টা করুন। অনেক সময় context থেকেই answer বের করা যায়।

6. একটি question এ answer না পেলে সেটি নিয়ে বেশি সময় নষ্ট না করে পরের question এ চলে যান। পরে সময় থাকলে আবার ফিরে আসুন।

7. Reading practice করার সময় timer ব্যবহার করুন। কারণ practice এর সময় যদি timing maintain না করেন, তাহলে exam hall এ pressure feel হতে পারে।

সবচেয়ে important হলো consistency। প্রতিদিন অল্প হলেও practice করলে reading speed, concentration এবং accuracy ধীরে ধীরে improve হবে।

অনেক শিক্ষার্থী IELTS Writing এ কম নম্বর পায় কারণ তাদের উত্তরগুলো খুব বেশি general হয়।

মূল সমস্যা আইডিয়ায় না, বরং explanation এ।
তারা একটি point তো লিখে, কিন্তু সেটিকে যথেষ্টভাবে develop করতে পারে না। ফলে writing টি surface-level মনে হয়।

যেমন - “Exercise is good for people.” ❌

এই sentence এ একটি সাধারণ মতামত দেওয়া হয়েছে, কিন্তু কোনো explanation নেই।
Exercise কেন উপকারী বা এটি মানুষের ওপর কী ধরনের ইতিবাচক প্রভাব ফেলে সেগুলো উল্লেখ করা হয়নি।

“Regular exercise improves physical health and helps people reduce stress.” ✅

এখানে শুধু opinion দেয়া হয়নি বরং সেই opinion-এর পেছনে clear reasoning ও দেয়া হয়েছে।
ফলে sentence টি বেশি specific, developed এবং academically stronger শোনাচ্ছে।

আরও উদাহরণ -

“Technology is useful.” ❌

“Technology makes communication faster and helps students access information easily.” ✅

“Cities are crowded.” ❌

“Large cities are becoming overcrowded due to increasing population and job opportunities.” ✅

“Reading books is important.” ❌

“Reading books improves vocabulary and develops critical thinking skills.” ✅

IELTS Writing এ examiners সাধারণত দেখতে চায় আপনি আপনার ideas কতটা effectively explain এবং develop করতে পারছেন।

আপনার idea খুব unique না হলেও সমস্যা নেই।
যদি explanation clear এবং relevant হয়, তাহলে সেটিই একটি strong answer হিসেবে গণ্য হবে।
