LU EEE Iftar Mahfil 2026

In the blessed spirit of Ramadan, the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Leading University, organized a heartfelt Iftar Mahfil on 08 March 2026 at Ishtikutum Restaurant, Blue Water Shopping Complex, Zindabazar, Sylhet.

The gathering turned into a memorable reunion that beautifully united the current students from weekday and weekend batches, recently outgoing students (Batch-35), distinguished alumni from Batch-5 and Batch-29, respected faculty members, and dedicated staff of the department. The evening reflected the true essence of Ramadan—unity, gratitude, compassion, and togetherness—strengthening the cherished bond among all members of the EEE family.

The program was organized by Batch-38 and was gracefully chaired by Md. Niaz Morshedul Haque, Assistant Professor & Head (Acting), Department of EEE. Under his guidance, the event became a warm and meaningful platform where generations of students and educators came together to share memories, experiences, and prayers.

Although the Honourable Vice Chancellor of Leading University, Professor Dr. Mohammed Taj Uddin, could not attend the program due to an emergency schedule, he conveyed his sincere greetings and heartfelt wishes to everyone present. His message was kindly delivered to the audience by Md. Niaz Morshedul Haque, who extended the Vice Chancellor’s warm regards to the entire EEE community.

The evening concluded as an exceptional gathering of unity and reflection, where laughter, conversations, and shared prayers created lasting memories for all. Events like this remind us that the strength of the EEE Department lies not only in academic excellence but also in the enduring relationships and sense of family that connect its students, alumni, faculty, and staff.

🎓🏅 Departmental Announcement | A Mark of Distinction and Excellence 🏅🎓

The Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) is immensely proud to announce that Mr. Moloy Chandra Dey (Student ID: 1812070033), a graduate of B. Sc. (Honours) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, has been awarded the prestigious Gold Medal (Co-founder Award) in recognition of his outstanding academic excellence.

Graduating with an exceptional CGPA of 3.92 (Grade: A) and successfully completing 157 credits, Mr. Dey has consistently demonstrated academic brilliance, dedication, and a strong commitment to excellence throughout his undergraduate studies. His achievement stands as a testament to perseverance, intellectual merit, and disciplined effort.

Although he was unable to attend the Convocation 2026 ceremony, he formally received the medal on 15 February 2026. The award was graciously handed over by the Honourable Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Mohammed Taj Uddin, in the distinguished presence of:
