In 1975, some of the young college students of Bangladesh form this organization. A. Chokro now has 20 branches with 1200 members throughout Bangladesh.
Since then Anushandhitshu Chokro has played an important role in science awareness movement in Bangladesh . Since its inception Anushandhitshu Chokro Science Organization has worked to spread science awareness among the young population of Bangladesh. It has organized numerous science exhibitions in schools, starting from the elementary level, instituted science reading programs, created low-cost

anniversary on 6th September, 2014.
Anushandhitshu Chokro has been carrying its
activities from 1975 in the field of science with
its slogan "Science for Progress and Peace". We
couldn't have done whatever we did tirelessly for
the last 39 years without the support of our
members, well wishers, friends and general
people. On the occasion of 39th anniversary of
Anushandhitshu Chokro we express our sincere
thanks and gratitude to all for the support and

পর্যবেক্ষণ
করতে গিয়ে সেখানে অনেক খাল ও
নালার অস্তিত্ব দেখতে পান।
তিনি বলেন, সেখানে যেহেতু
এক্সটেন্সিভ খালের অস্তিত্ব
দেখা যাচ্ছে তাহলে সেখানে উন্নত
সভ্যতা বিরাজ করছে,
এবং তারা গ্রহটির মেরু অঞ্চলের
থেকে পানি সেচের ব্যাপারে খুবই
আগ্রহী। এই আইডিয়া থেকেই এইচ
জি ওয়েলস তাঁর "অয়র অব দ্য ওয়ার্ল্ডস"
গল্পে মঙ্গলের মানুষের
দ্বারা পৃথিবী আক্রমণের
কাহিনি ফাঁদেন। সেখানেও উদ্দেশ্য
ছিল, মংগলবাসীরা পৃথিবীর পানির
টানে এই গ্রহ আক্রমণ করবে। কিন্তু
সমস্যা হচ্ছিল যে অন্য
জ্যোতির্বিদরা ঠিক অতো খাল ও
নালা দেখছিলেন না।
এমনকি সেখানে বুদ্ধিমান
প্রাণীরা অন্যান্য সিগনেচারও ঠিক
তেমন তেমন পাচ্ছিলেন না। সব
জল্পনার অবশেষ হলো তখনই যখন
মেরিনার নভোযান মঙ্গলের পৃষ্ঠের
ওপর দিয়ে উড়ে যাওয়ার সময় কিছু
ছবি তুলে পাঠায়।
সেখানে দেখা যায় রুক্ষ ভূমি-
প্রান্তর। তবে ২০০৩ সালে একজন চক্ষু-
বিশেষজ্ঞ এবং একজন সৌখিন
জ্যোতির্বিদ জানিয়েছেন
যে লোয়েল সাহেব তার
টেলিস্কোপের
অক্ষিপটকে এতো ছোট
করে এনেছিলেন যে তার
টেলিস্কোপটি একটি দানবীয়
অপথালমোস্কোপ হয়ে যায়। অর্থাৎ
লোয়েল সায়েব তার নিজের
রেটিনার রক্তনালীগুলিরই
একটি অস্বাভাবিক বিম্বিত
প্রতিছাপ দেখছিলেন। আর তাতেই
তিনি মনে করেন যে তিনি মঙ্গলের
খাল-বিল দেখছেন! আহা!

১ জুন সমাপ্ত শিশু কিশোর বিজ্ঞান কংগ্রেসের প্রকল্প প্রতিযোগিতায় জুনিয়র ও সিনিয়র উভয় ক্যাটাগরীতে অনুসন্ধিৎসু চক্রের সদস্যরা প্রথম স্থান অর্জন করেছেন । জুনিয়রে প্রথম মেহেদী হাসান মাসুম ও সিনিয়রে প্রথম- শাহরিয়ার, প্রভাত। উল্লেখ্য বিজ্ঞান কংগ্রেসে বিভিন্ন ক্যাটাগরীতে সারা দেশের ৩০টি জেলা থেকে ২৭০ জন শিশুকিশোর নির্বাচিত হয়ে অংশ নিয়েছিল।

Expedition 35 Commander Chris Hadfield handed over command of the International Space Station to Expedition 36 Commander Pavel Vinogradov in a change of command ceremony Sunday. Hadfield, Soyuz Commander Roman Romanenko of the Russian Federal Space Agency and NASA Flight Engineer Tom Marshburn will return to Earth at 10:30 p.m. EDT Monday aboard their Soyuz TMA-07M spacecraft.
