Some tips for Imams & Huffadh leading Taraweeh prayers this year.

1) Avoid eating any diary products before prayers (including milk, milk tea or milk coffee) as this would increase in phlegm.

2) Do not drink any cold drinks before or after prayers, especially fizzy drinks or cold water, as this tires out the vocal cords.

3) Recommended to have warm water with ginger, a teaspoon of honey with black seed.

4) Keep a glass of water (room temperature) next to you in Mihrab, so you may have some sips after some Raka'at, in order to keep your throat hydrated.

5) When revising, recite in a calm and low tone throughout the day & avoid speaking much in order to preserve your vocal energy.

6) When standing in Salah, stand close to the microphone & start the recitation gently & calmly and not in a high pitched level and gradually build up.

7) Ask Allah (s.w.t) to grant you the Tawfiq to recite the Quran in the way which pleases HIM.

8 ) Ask Allah (s.w.t) for acceptance.
