The Cultural Committee of SWMC has been able to successfully arrange Fruit Festival. The event was aimed at promoting nutritional awareness and highlighting the significance of a balanced diet within the medical community. The festival showcased a diverse assortment of seasonal fruits.

The event was honored by the presence of Honorable Chairman Dr. Fazlur Rahim Kaiser , Director Brigadier General (LPR) Dr. Syed Iftikhar Uddin and Principal Dr. Shahana Ferdous Chowdhury, alongside faculty members from various departments, who graced the occasion with their presence and engage with the students throughout the event.

Such an event has proved to be a good source of interaction among people and emphasizing the concept of overall well-being.

✨ LC Events on SRHR ✨

The BMSS SWMC Local Committee recently organized “LC Events on SRHR: Advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights for Adolescents and Youths”!!!

The session covered important topics including "Menstrual Regulation and Post - Abortion Care (PAC)”.
We were deeply honored to have the distinguished Obstetrician and Gynecologist, Prof. Dr. Shahana Ferdous Chowdhury, Principal of the SWMC, present at the event as the chief guest.
Depth session on the clinical aspect of "MR and PAC" expertly facilitated by -
Dr. Fatema Khanom Chowdhury,
MBBS, MRCOG (Registrar, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology).

The programme was further enriched by the presence of our esteemed Gynaecology and Obstetrics faculty members:
- Associate Professor Iffana Azam
- ⁠Associate Professor Lubna Yeasmin
- ⁠Assistant Professor Murshida Afroz Lubna
- ⁠Assistant Professor Mabruka Faiza.

To ensure an engaging learning environment, there was an on spot poster competition and a blindfolded uterus drawing activity. Our faculty members served as the panel of judges evaluating the creative efforts of our participants and awarding the winners.
