It is true that a strong profile increases the chances of visa approval.
Until last year, in many cases, UK visas were being granted simply after submitting files to the Embassy. Many students with up to 15 years of study gap, without IELTS or any English test, also received UK visas. Some even got visas with MOI from National or 7 College. There were cases where students without IELTS, CGPA requirements, or even UKVI interviews still received visas.
However, the current situation is no longer the same. UKVI is now conducting proper and strict interviews. Without a strong profile and appropriate answers during the interview, obtaining a visa has become much more difficult.
