Over the past several years, KRTC has been working on a long-term academic initiative to explore the structural challenges of Applied Science Education in Bangladesh and possible pathways for strengthening scientific competence, research readiness, and workforce development.

Through six academic seminars, research activities, and stakeholder discussions, we have explored how stronger collaboration among universities, industries, researchers, and development partners may contribute to reducing the theory–practice gap in science education.

Following the successful completion of our 6th Academic Seminar at Bangla Academy, Dhaka, KRTC is now preparing for the National Academic Seminar 2026 under the theme:

"Academic Dialogue: Bridging the Theory–Practice Gap in Science Education in Bangladesh."

Our focus remains the same: developing practical approaches for strengthening applied science education, research capacity, academia–industry collaboration, and opportunities for future generations of students and young researchers.

We sincerely thank all students, academics, researchers, industry representatives, and well-wishers who have supported this journey.

A heartfelt special thanks goes to our dedicated Student Ambassadors and University Coordinator team, whose energy, commitment, and on-the-ground support have been vital in connecting campuses, mobilizing student participation, and carrying this initiative forward.
