Department of Law, Gono Bishwabidyalay

The Department of Law proudly participated in the Inter-University Debate on Legal Issues 2026, organized by Haque Law Academy at its academy premises.

Our team advanced to the Quarter Final, defeating Noakhali Science and Technology University and Bangladesh University of Business and Technology, and secured an impressive 6th position among 24 participating teams.
Lecturer in Law Mr. Kauser joined as an adjudicator and adjudicated Three sessions in preliminary level.

The program was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Islamic University, Kushtia.

Chief Guest: His Lordship Justice Mahbub ul Alam, Honorable Justice, High Court Division, Supreme Court of Bangladesh.

Displaying grit, determination and top-class badminton, the Department of Law stormed to the championship title with an emphatic 2–0 straight-sets victory over the Department of English in the Inter-Department Badminton Tournament. The final was a true spectacle of skill and competitive spirit. Massive congratulations to the players, team manager and everyone behind the scenes for their relentless effort, unity and outstanding sportsmanship.
