We are giving a letter to the COO (Chief of Operation) of Babylon Agro & Dairy Limited to propose a collaboration between *Department of Agriculture (City University) and BabylonAgro & Dairy Limited* to explore opportunities for academic–industry partnership, research enhancement, student skill development, and innovation in the agricultural and dairy sectors.

🌾 Agriculture Innovation Fair – Showcasing the Future of Sustainable Farming 🌿

The Department of Agriculture successfully organized an engaging Agricultural Innovation Fair, where students showcased their creative projects on modern and sustainable agricultural practices.

Honorable Vice Chancellor, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Registrar, esteemed Deans, and HR Director graced the event with their presence and interacted with the young innovators. Their encouragement and insightful feedback added immense value to the exhibition.

Students presented hands-on models and demonstrations covering a variety of agricultural themes, including:

✔️ Efficient water-management systems
✔️ Crop production and protection innovations
✔️ Sustainable and climate-resilient practices

The fair highlighted the department’s commitment to practical learning, research excellence, and preparing students to become future leaders in agriculture.

Agriculture Department কর্তৃক আয়োজিত কৃষি বিভাগের, ফাইনাল সেমিস্টারের ছাত্র ছাত্রীদের (৫ম ব্যাচ) জন্য BRRI তে একটি সফল শিক্ষা সফরের আয়োজন করা হয়। (উল্লেখ্য যে এই Study Tour টি তাদের ২ Credit এর Course ছিল)।
সর্ব প্রথম Dr. A.B.M Anwar Uddim (PSO), ধানের পোকা- মাকড়ের ক্ষতিকর এবং নিয়ন্ত্রণ নিয়ে আলোচনা করেন।

ধানের রোগ, কারন ও নিয়ন্ত্রণের উপর কথা বলেন ড. মোঃ সেলিম (PSO).
Studentsদের তাত্ত্বিক জ্ঞান অর্জনের পাশাপাশি বাস্তবে জ্ঞান লাভই ছিল উক্ত Tour এর মূল উদ্দ্যেশ্য।

৪ জন Faculty এবং ২৮ জন ছাত্র-ছাত্রী Research Organization BRRI ভিজিটে যায়। BRRI কর্তিপক্ষ তাদেরকর খুব সুন্দরভাবে অভ্যর্থনা জানায়। এবং শিক্ষার্থীদের সকালের নাস্তার পর তাদের প্রতিটি Research Lab (Bio- technology lab, Pathology lab, Entomology lab) ও অন্যান্য বিভাগ ঘুরে দেখায়। তাদের মধ্যে BRRI মিউজিয়াম ছিল অন্যতম।

লাঞ্চের পর তাদের Conference রুমে BRRI সকল Variety নিয়ে আলোচনা করেন ড. মোঃ মমিন (লিয়াজো অফিসার, ব্রী) এবং তিনি শিক্ষার্থীদের সকল প্রশ্নের জবাব খুব সুন্দর করে দেন। উক্ত সেশনটি ছিল শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য শিক্ষণীয় এবং প্রাণবন্ত।

পরিশেষে Study Tour এর Organizer ড. মোঃ সহিদুল হক বীর (সহকারী অধ্যাপক), বিভাগীয় প্রধান ড. কাজী মোস্তাক মাহমুদ, কো-অর্ডিনেটর খন্দকার নাফিজ বায়েজীদ এবং লেকচারার ফয়জুন্নাহার ইভা BRRI কর্তিপক্ষকে কৃতজ্ঞতা ও ধন্যবাদ জানিয়ে উক্ত Study Tour সম্পন্ন করেন।

নিরাপদ সড়ক, নিরাপদ জীবন — এই প্রতিপাদ্যকে সামনে রেখে আজ ডিটিসিএ ভবনে অনুষ্ঠিত হলো “A Comprehensive Approach Towards Road Safety” বিষয়ক সেমিনার। 🚦✨
উক্ত সেমিনারে কৃষি বিভাগের ছাত্র ( ৬ষ্ঠ ব্যাচ) ইব্রাহীম খলিল অংশ গ্রহন করে।

সড়ক দুর্ঘটনা হ্রাস ও সচেতন সমাজ গঠনে এই আয়োজন সকলের মাঝে দায়িত্ববোধ ও নিরাপত্তা সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধিতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবে বলে তার বিশ্বাস 🛣️💡
