𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗜 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Yesterday, the 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗜 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 was held, celebrating the dedication, creativity, and innovative achievements of the winning teams.

We are proud to see our 𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗦 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗶𝗿 presenting the prize money to the deserving winners. Their continuous guidance and support play an important role in inspiring students to explore AI, research, innovation, and emerging technologies.

Representing Falcon Bots as Silicon Rookies, the team proudly became the Line Follower Robot Champions!

From Student Innovation to Safer Metro Rail 🇧🇩🚇

A proud moment for Daffodil International University (DIU) as Iran Sardar, a student of the Department of Computing and Information Sciences (CIS), presented his innovative IoT-driven project on “Sokaler Bangladesh”, a talk show on Jamuna Television, held today, 12 August 2026.

The project introduces a homegrown, precision-sensor-based solution to monitor the displacement of elastomeric bearing pads in Metro Rail structures—contributing to structural health monitoring and passenger safety.

What began as a student innovation by Iran received the support of Daffodil International University, with the University authority and the CIS Department coming forward to further develop and refine the project, making the solution more precise and practical in collaboration with the Metro Rail authorities.

The talk show featured Associate Professor Sarwar Hossain Mollah, Head of the CIS Department and Advisor of AIRIS, and Assistant Professor Nasimul Kader Sohel, CIS Department and Advisor of AIRIS, who joined the discussion and shared their insights on the project. Lecturer Moniruzzaman Hemal, Department of CIS, has also been working dedicatedly on the project and contributing significantly to its development.

A remarkable example of how DIU empowers student innovation and brings together students, faculty, and institutional support to transform ideas into solutions for real-world challenges. 💡🇧🇩

𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗦 𝗜𝗻𝗮𝘂𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆: 𝗔 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲

As part of the Inauguration Ceremony of 𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗦 — 𝗔𝗜 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 & 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆, our Convener, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗔𝘇𝗮𝗺 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗻, 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿, 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗜𝗦, conducted an insightful seminar on the 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗦.

The session highlighted AIRIS’s commitment to building a community where students can explore 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵, 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆, and emerging technologies. With a vision to inspire future innovators and a mission to create opportunities for 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, and 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, AIRIS aims to become a platform where ideas turn into meaningful impact.

The seminar offered an inspiring direction for the journey ahead and reflected the purpose behind building 𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗦 as a student-driven community of innovation and research.

On 𝟭𝟬 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗦 — 𝗔𝗜 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 & 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 officially began its journey with a grand inauguration ceremony at Daffodil International University.

The event was honored by the presence of 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗱. 𝗙𝗼𝗸𝗵𝗿𝗮𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗻, Dean of FSIT, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘆 from Students’ Affairs, along with 𝗠𝗱. 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵, Head of CIS and Advisor of AIRIS, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗔𝘇𝗮𝗺 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗻, Convener, and 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗔𝗸𝘁𝗲𝗿, Co-Convener.

AIRIS aims to build a community where students can 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵, 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲, and 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 to shape the future of technology.

যাদের অপরিসীম সাহস, রক্ত ও আত্মত্যাগে রচিত হয়েছে বাংলাদেশের ইতিহাসের এক গৌরবময় ও স্মরণীয় অধ্যায়, তাদের রক্তের ঋণ আমরা কোনোদিন ভুলব না।
