This significant research investigates the prevalence, antimicrobial resistance patterns, and resistance gene profiles of ESBL-producing Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae isolated from quails in Sylhet, Bangladesh. The findings highlight the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in poultry production and emphasize the importance of One Health-based surveillance, antimicrobial stewardship, and public health protection.
