At last, the day-long marathon session of the “Basic First Aid Training” has been successfully completed. The day-long workshop was an exceptional experience that provided participants with valuable practical knowledge and skills in primary medical care.

We express our deepest gratitude to all who contributed directly or indirectly to the successful completion of this training program.
Our special thanks and sincere appreciation go to Professor Dr. Atiar Rahman, the honorable Vice-Chancellor of Rangamati Science and Technology University (RMSTU), whose guidance, inspiration, and overall support made this event a success.

We also extend heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Saddam Hossain, the honorable Proctor of RMSTU and the respected Moderator of Red Crescent Youth, RMSTU Unit, whose close supervision, valuable direction, and continuous cooperation ensured the smooth ex*****on of the entire session.

A special note of appreciation goes to all the trainers from Rangamati District Red Crescent Unit, whose dedication, patience, and commitment greatly enriched the training. Their expert instruction and practical demonstrations helped participants gain essential first aid knowledge and confidence in handling emergency situations.

We also convey our sincere thanks to all participants, whose enthusiasm, active participation, and eagerness to learn made the session more interactive and successful. Their sincere efforts and engagement turned the training into a truly meaningful and impactful event.

We firmly believe that the knowledge and skills gained from this training will enable participants to play an effective role in humanitarian service and emergency response in the future.
Through this successful initiative, Rangamati Science and Technology University once again proves its commitment to promoting humanitarian values, social responsibility, and community service.

Today, Thursday (7 November 2025), the first day of the two-day “Basic First Aid Training” program was held at Rangamati Science and Technology University (RMSTU), organized by the university’s Red Crescent Youth Unit.

The event was graced by the presence of the Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Rangamati Science and Technology University, Professor Dr. Atiar Rahman, as the Chief Guest.
The Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Noakhali Science and Technology University, Professor Dr. Muhammad Ismail, attended the program as the Special Guest.

Among others, Mr. A. S. M. Safiul Azam, Vice-Chairman of the Rangamati District Red Crescent Society, and Mr. Saiful Islam Sakil, General Secretary of the District Red Crescent, along with other officials and members, were present at the event.

The training sessions were conducted by Mr. Mohammad Tanbir, Youth Leader of the Rangamati District Red Crescent, along with other trainers.

Students from various departments of RMSTU, members of the Red Crescent Youth Unit, and concerned officials actively participated in the training program.

The program was presided over by Mr. Saddam Hossain, Proctor of Rangamati Science and Technology University and Moderator of the Red Crescent Youth Unit.

Organizers expressed that this two-day training program aims to enhance students’ awareness and skills in basic first aid, while fostering the spirit of humanitarian service among the youth

রাঙামাটি বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মাননীয় উপাচার্য ও রেড ক্রিসেন্ট ইয়ুথ ,রাবিপ্রবির সম্মানিত প্রধান উপদেষ্টা জনাব ড. মোহাম্মদ আতিয়ার রহমান স্যারের সাথে সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎ করেছে রাঙামাটি জেলা রেড ক্রিসেন্ট ইউনিট।

বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ক্যাম্পাসে অনুষ্ঠিতব্য ফার্স্ট এইড ট্রেইনিং কার্যক্রমকে কেন্দ্র করে এ সাক্ষাতে আলোচনা হয় প্রশিক্ষণের গুরুত্ব, শিক্ষার্থীদের অংশগ্রহণ এবং ক্যাম্পাসে মানবিক ও সেবামূলক কার্যক্রমকে আরও সুসংহত করার দিক নিয়ে।

মাননীয় উপাচার্য স্যার এ উদ্যোগকে স্বাগত জানান এবং শিক্ষার্থীদের মানবিক মূল্যবোধে উদ্বুদ্ধ করতে রেড ক্রিসেন্টের এই প্রশিক্ষণের ভূয়সী প্রশংসা করেন। এই সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎ উভয় প্রতিষ্ঠানের মধ্যে সহযোগিতা ও সেবামূলক কার্যক্রমের বিস্তারে একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মাইলফলক হিসেবে কাজ করবে।

First Meeting of Red Crescent Youth, RMSTU Unit Held

Today, the first meeting of the Red Crescent Youth, Rangamati Science and Technology University (RMSTU) Unit was held. The Leader, Deputy Leaders, Unit Leaders, and Unit Co-Leaders were present at the meeting.

During the session, the Leader of the RMSTU Unit discussed future plans, member training programs, and various upcoming activities. Other leaders also shared their opinions and suggestions regarding the initiatives.

Following the meeting, the representatives of the Red Crescent Youth, RMSTU Unit paid a courtesy visit to the Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Rangamati Science and Technology University and Chief Advisor of the RMSTU Red Crescent Unit, Professor Dr. Atiar Rahman Sir.They sought valuable advice on future activities and organizational plans.

The Vice-Chancellor provided guidance and assured the team of all possible cooperation in the days ahead.
