Kaptai UNO officer, education officer and social welfare officer have attended at the free book distribution ceremony of the two schools of Lotus Children Home: Primary and High School on the New Year Day, first January 2023!

The ceremony was presided by Diptimoy Talukdar, member of Rangamati Jelaporishad Porishod and attended by local members, parents and children.

Enrolment is on at the Lotus Children’s Home Residential School from play to class ten with all groups!

Highly recommend for your children because we offer right education with right knowledge to become a dutiful, responsible and compassionate human beings.

Our teachers are excellent and expert on cognitive development, and creative thinkings!

A day of honour and respect to the Victory Day with different types of activities, seminar and discussion about the independence of Bangladesh from Pakistan!

This is not guaranteed for the future by the passing rate of this kind. Although it boosts students mind, solution of social and individual problems are not depended on SSC! We must move forward with a genuine practical reality for the future!

We have received EIIN (education institute identification number) along with the approval certificate from Banbeis (Bangladesh Bureau of Educational Information and Statistics), the quality of control and oversight body of Bangladesh Education Board, the government of Bangladesh!

Thanks to all our teachers, academic staff and committee members of the Lotus Shishu Shadan Residential High School! Your selfless efforts, volunteering with good intentions, and a genuine service for humanity and knowledge have brought to this achievement.

Their approval means that the quality of our teaching is good and perfect. We think it to improve even better than any other school in the region but financial support is urgently needed to pay teachers’ salary.

This approval is nothing to do with financial support. So we must work hard to train our teachers and provide appropriate salary to keep a high standard adopted by our teaching methods!

Never think they will accept what you cannot accept because they are human beings, not different from you! See others through your feeling but not by your desire! This logical -emphatic reflection is useful for the solution of our conflict

Upozila shikkha officer visited us today as we have received the ministerial permission from the Education Ministry and Chittagong (SSC and HSC) Education Board to run academic classes! This visit comes after two officers visited us a few days ago: one was from the CHT development board and the other from Upozila UNO officer.

They gave us a high credit with full appreciation and praise for our works! We are very pleased to hear their appreciation, especially on academic teaching, management of the institute and development. They are responsible for the academic and management of all local education institutes in the district area!

We need more donation to maintain the teachers fees and children foods. These officers are here only for official works but we still need to work hard to get teachers salary from the government. We now pay for 14 teachers salaries from the trust and about 200 children foods .

Lotus Children Home Orphanage!

We observed two ceremonies today: one was the opening ceremony of the second storey of the boy hostel funded by CHT development board and this ceremony was led Nikhil Kumar Chakma, the Chairman of CHT development board.

The other ceremony was led by UNO officer, Kaptai Upozila. The officer brought eggs for our children to celebrate the world egg’s day! This visit was a larger part of her duty as a UNO officer to make sure we run our institute properly and effectively.

Our children, teachers and committee members welcome both officers and distinguished guests with flowers, and discussion!

Our sincere thanks to all distinguished guests today including our teachers, staff and committee members: noticeably, Nyolhapru Marma, Vimala, Assajit, Munni, Rhanlha, Champa, Usaingmong, Muishan, Weonu, Hlachingprue, Aongshing Mong, Sajaipru, Esainu, Aongshwepru, Aongsaching, Happy, and more who are not in the list here!

Our Tribute to the Queen of the UK:

We live in the globalised modern world, by sharing with or depending on one another in terms of resources or survival requisites.

These two Lotus schools: primary and high school were funded by our UK donors.

Our children observed silent, paid an tribute and prayer for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth of the United Kingdom on 19th September 2022 as the UK’s nation organised to say goodbye the Queen with the attendance of the world leaders:

Two class 8 (Y8) students’ presentation record. This is a larger part of training to improve students ability and IQ performance in the class. All students must observe this practice once a week in the classroom. Thanks to our teachers for delivering their duty and efforts!

Our Lotus Children are always active and enthusiastic to learn. They have actively participated and expressed their gratitude to the father of the independent of Bangladesh, Sheik Mujibur Rahaman, on the sad day of his assassination (15 August). Students and teachers join together to pray and respect his contribution to Bangladesh!!!

A day of very especial and nutritious meals among everyday meals of Lotus Children's Home donated by UKRA, a primary school teacher and her friends. Children look happy and delighted to have these meals today. Let not forget the number over 200 residents with novices, monks, teachers and students. Total cost for this a day meal- lunch and dinner cost about 14000 BTD, approximately $150 dollars. Thanks UKRA for this support. Children look pleased to have this meals.

New residential students entrance exam at Lotus Children’s Home for all classes (1 to 10)! Regular class for 2022 will start next week!

Bijoy Dibos (Vijaya divase) which means the Victory Day of Bangladesh today, took place 50 years ago on 16th December 1971! History will continue as long as human beings live on this earth! But what we must learn from the history is that whether our history being biased, righteous, cruel or peaceful one; whether the episode in the history was really necessary at all or whether it was avoidable if we are conscientious and rational human beings? Our question is why human beings are so cruel and what was the reason behind this? Will this cruelty repeat again? We must teach our children to correct our future and bring our future the world sustainable and peaceful one!

২) আমি আমার জ্ঞানের দক্ষতা, কর্মের দক্ষতা, উদ্যোগের দক্ষতা ও যুক্তির দক্ষতা অর্জনের জন্য শক্তি প্রয়োগ করবো ।

The way how our earth and space:airs above the earth are polluted and heated up quicker and experienced it beyond our boundary, state and ethnicity or culture, this is the urgent time for us to think about the global climate, and environment by everyone of us before national interest and selfish interest. This is the duty of everyone of us because nature doesn’t discriminate nationality or ethnicity. Only human beings can do it but not animals to save our civilization, and suffering of our humanity.

We can do it by Green Business, Greenpeace plan, planting trees, controlling our desire, habitual changes, training our mind, or by mass awareness training, controlled production of environmentally unfriendly items, and recycled every items possible and so on. Most importantly, we must train our children in their schoolroom lessons so that they can behave well and act appropriately when their times come for the world.
