Presentation Seminar 2.0— Session 2 Completed

Another meaningful step forward in our journey of learning and collaboration. Today, we successfully conducted our second session with great enthusiasm and engagement.

We were honored to have Sukhomoy Das (20 Batch) as our guest speaker. His insights, experience, and perspective added real value to the session and gave us practical direction to think beyond the classroom.

Special appreciation to our convenor Mahbub A Alahi Akib for organizing and leading the session with dedication and clarity.

Sessions like this are what shape a strong academic community — where ideas are shared, questions are encouraged, and growth becomes collective.

Looking forward to more impactful sessions ahead.

Our third study session for this semester. Hopefully, this semester will bring something better.

What can possibly beat the after class study sessions? Study Sessions before the class.

This new semester, Materials Squad of Excellence has decided to move one step forward. Oftentimes, our honorable teachers introduces us to topics that hit the unknowing students like a brick wall.

So to tackle those, we are going to come together and study the topics our teachers would teach us later in the class.

This enables us to know what we are about to study in the class later on and gives time to think about the topic in a deeper sense. This also naturally incorporates the idea of spaced repetition and active recall.

Through this, we are moving towards .

Hey everyone! Materiales Squad of Excellence would like to give you a brief summary of all of the work we did in this academic year and appreciate the people who were there with us along the way.

The projects we have done this year were-
1. Community Resource Creation
2. After Class study sessions and Revision Sessions
3. Amateur Presentation Seminar

Our journey started back in late 2024, where we decided that if we share the burden of finding and note making, we could have more time for deeper and smoother study and thus have more time to ourselves to explore the vast field of MSE, Engineering and Knowledge as a whole.

We are thankful to those of us who collected, managed and formatted resources for the community both in the first and second semester. Also to those who participated in revising and updating the previous year's works and also did important work from scratch.

Again, our second project was the Amateur Presentation Seminar. In this project we selected to learn various topics ranging from the chemical analysis of tea to quantum dots to everything in between. We are thankful to those of us who organized such an event and also to those who participated in this event both on the stage and in the audience.

Furthermore, our most engaging project from last year was the Revision Sessions. In this project, we went back to the white board to relearn and revisit the knowledge and information our honorable teachers passed onto us. But the catch was, both the tutor and the learner were from among us, students who always have their own imagination and perspective. We thank everyone involved in this project.

We are also thankful to our seniors who supported us, guided us and even participated with us during various occasions.

Also, we thank you, for being a silent witness to our forward march and motivating us along the way.

We hope for a better future and a brighter next semester.

We hope we can build and maintain a fine working community and togethe
