MatSci Club, in collaboration with the Rajshahi University Astronomy Club (RUAC), invites you to an exciting joint special session: "Our Connection with Outer Space — Explore The Universe Together."

We’re honored to host
Prof. Dr. Abdullah Shams Bin Tariq from the Department of Physics,
Rajshahi University.

Erasmus Mundus Journey: Experience, Insights & Application Strategy

Another successful program by MatSci Club, University of Rajshahi comes to an end.

The session was a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about the Erasmus Mundus journey, application process, scholarship opportunities, and the real experiences of a scholarship recipient.

We were truly honored to have our respected Chairman, Md. Abdul Matin Sir and our respected teacher Md. Anwarul Kabir Bhuiya Sir with us.

A big thank you to our speaker Md. Musfiqul Islam Prince for openly sharing his experience, lessons, and valuable advice with the students.

We are immensely proud that MatSci Club, Department of Materials Science & Engineering, University of Rajshahi, partnered with BEAR Summit 2026, Bangladesh's flagship deep-tech and semiconductor summit. We are equally proud that several members of our club attended the summit as BEAR Patrons, gaining firsthand exposure to one of the country's most significant technology and innovation platforms.

One of the driving forces behind this remarkable initiative is Dr. Muhammad Mustafa Hussain, Professor and Director of ELMORE at Purdue University and the Chief Architect of BEAR Vision and Silicon River. His vision is to establish a robust semiconductor ecosystem in Bangladesh by connecting universities, industries, researchers, and international partners.

A defining highlight of the summit was the presence of Honourable Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, who shared an inspiring vision that semiconductors could become Bangladesh's next major export after the garment industry. His remarks reflected the country's growing commitment to building a globally competitive semiconductor industry.

The summit also welcomed distinguished guests, renowned professors, researchers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and policymakers from Bangladesh and abroad, creating an exceptional platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation.

আপনি কি জানেন দুনিয়া এখন কোয়ান্টামে ম্যাটেরিয়ালসের যুগে প্রবেশ করেছে , যে প্রযুক্তিগুলো আজ বিশ্বের বড় বড় গবেষণাগারে তৈরি হচ্ছে, সেগুলোই কয়েক বছরের মধ্যে আমাদের দৈনন্দিন জীবনের অংশ হবে।

Quantum Materials, Spintronics, DFT Calculations, Single-Photon Technologies... নামগুলো হয়তো আজ নতুন লাগছে। কিন্তু আগামী দিনের গবেষণা, AI, Quantum Computing এবং উন্নত ইলেকট্রনিক্সের ভিত্তি এগুলোই।
