বিভাগটি বিভিন্ন আন্তঃবিভাগীয় ফুটবল , ক্রিকেট ও টেবিল টেনিস টুর্নামেন্টে চ্যাম্পিয়ন ও রানারআপ অবস্থান অর্জনের মাধ্যমে ক্রীড়া ক্ষেত্রে শক্ত অবস্থান গড়ে তুলেছে। 💪

নবীন শিক্ষার্থীদের পদচারণায় মুখর হয়ে উঠবে রুয়েট :

রাজশাহী প্রকৌশল ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে (রুয়েট) ২০২৫–২৬ শিক্ষাবর্ষের স্নাতক প্রথম বর্ষের শিক্ষার্থীদের আড়ম্বপূর্ণ ওরিয়েন্টেশনের মাধ্যমে বরণ করে নেয়া হবে আগামী ৯ মে। প্রতিবছর নবীন শিক্ষার্থীদের নিয়ে এই ওরিয়েন্টেশনের আয়োজন করা হয়। ওরিয়েন্টেশন শেষে ১০ মে থেকে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে প্রথম বর্ষের ক্লাস শুরু হবে। ১৫৭তম একাডেমিক কাউন্সিল সভায় এ বিষয়ে সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ করে রুয়েট প্রশাসন।

রুয়েটের তিনটি প্রকৌশল অনুষদের ১৪ টি বিভাগের বিপরীতে মোট ১ হাজার ২৩০ আসন রয়েছে। এর মধ্যে সিএসই, ইইই, সিই ও এমই বিভাগে ১৮০টি, এমটিই, সিএমই, আইপিই, এমএসই, ইউআরপি, ইসিই ও ইটিই বিভাগে ৬০ টি এবং এআরসিএইচ, সিএইচই ও বিইসিএম বিভাগে ৩০ টি করে আসন রয়েছে।

২০২৫–২৬ শিক্ষাবর্ষে রুয়েটে ভর্তি কার্যক্রম আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে শুরু হয় ৩ ফেব্রুয়ারি। এর আগে ২ ডিসেম্বর থেকে ১৩ ডিসেম্বর পর্যন্ত অনলাইনে আবেদন গ্রহণ করা হয়। গত ২২ জানুয়ারি ভর্তি পরীক্ষা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। পরীক্ষায় ১৮ হাজার ২৭৭ জন আবেদনকারীর মধ্যে ১৫ হাজার ৫৬৭ জন অংশগ্রহণ করেন। ২৪ জানুয়ারি প্রকাশিত ফলে ‘ক’ গ্রুপে ৭ হাজার ৭০২ জন এবং ‘খ’ গ্রুপে ২৭৪ জন উত্তীর্ণ হন।

পরবর্তীতে ৩ ফেব্রুয়ারি থেকে ভর্তি কার্যক্রম শুরু হয়। প্রাথমিক নির্বাচনের পর চূড়ান্ত পরীক্ষায় উত্তীর্ণ হওয়া, মেধাতালিকা অনুযায়ী অনলাইনে বিষয় পছন্দ ফর্ম পূরণ, প্রয়োজনীয় কাগজপত্র জমা এবং রুয়েটের মেডিকেল বোর্ডের অধীনে স্বাস্থ্য পরীক্ষার মতো দীর্ঘ প্রক্রিয়ার মধ্য দিয়ে যেতে হয়েছে শিক্ষার্থীদের। ভর্তি প্রক্রিয়ায় শিক্ষার্থীদের সুবিধার্থে ‘অটো মাইগ্রেশন’ ব্যবস্থা চালু ছিল। এর মাধ্যমে শূন্য আসন সাপেক্ষে উচ্চতর পছন্দের বিভাগে স্থানান্তরের সুযোগ পেয়েছেন তারা।
