RUET DC is the only debating club of RUET. It works upholding the motto 'Our Debate, Our Dream'. From time to time, it got recognized as “RUET Debating Club”.

Welcome to Ruet Debating Club (RUET DC) , the only debating club of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology(RUET). It started it’s wonderful journey on 4th of May 1991 as Debating Society of RUET. At the very heart of this debating club is the passion for debating, freedom of speech, critical thinking which is building up the leadership qualities and dedication to serve our nation in each individual young talent. Our motto stands as "Our debate Our dream".

Happy Mother's Day!!

Every confident voice has a story behind it.
Ours began with mothers who fought battles we never saw, broke barriers without applause, and taught us to never stay silent in the face of wrong. Their rebellion became our confidence.
Their motivation became our voice.

Celebrating 34 Years of Excellence!

Today marks a proud milestone. The RUET Debating Club (RUETdc) turns 34, and we are honored to celebrate this journey.

It all began in 1992 as The Debating Society of BIT Rajshahi (DSBR). Over the years, the club evolved into The RUET Debating Forum before rebranding as RUETdc in 2015. Each chapter brought new energy, new faces, and a renewed sense of purpose.

From shaping critical thinkers to building confident leaders, every era has added a new chapter to our story.

A tribute to the past that shaped us, the present that drives us, and the future we’re ready to conquer. Proud of our legacy, and excited for everything that lies ahead.

On behalf of RUET Debating Club, we extend our heartfelt congratulations on this truly inspiring achievement. Winning 1st place in the Huawei ICT Competition 2025–26 Global Final is not just a victory it’s a proud and emotional moment for the entire RUET family and for Bangladesh.

This journey shows us that even in the face of challenges, determination and belief can lead to excellence. Thank you for inspiring us to dream bigger, work harder, and aim higher.
