🎓 Orientation Program for M.Sc. in Mechatronics Engineering

The Department of Mechatronics Engineering, Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), successfully organized the Orientation Program for the newly admitted students of the M.Sc. in Mechatronics Engineering program on October 25, 2025.

Faculty members welcomed the new students and encouraged them to pursue excellence in research, innovation, and advanced technological development.

The Department of Mechatronics Engineering (MTE), Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Master of Science in Engineering (M.Sc. Engg.) and Ph.D. programs in Mechatronics Engineering.

These programs are designed for aspiring engineers seeking to advance their academic and professional careers, deepen their expertise, and contribute to innovation in the field of technology.

On April 07, 2025, at the prestigious Bangladesh Startup Connect 2025—a flagship event of the Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025 held at Hotel InterContinental, Dhaka—our student Abrar Faiyaz Anan Chowdhury (20 Series, Dept. of Mechatronics Engineering, RUET) proudly represented his startup Anondopath - আনন্দপাঠ as Co-Founder & COO.

This invite-only event was organized by Startup Bangladesh Limited, gathering visionary investors, industry leaders, and changemakers from across the country. All eight divisional champions were present, and Anondopath had the honor of being one of them.

The Department of Mechatronics Engineering, RUET, proudly congratulates Abrar Faiyaz Anan Chowdhury and Madhurima Das from the 20 Series for their outstanding achievement at the Youth Startup Summit 2025! Their startup, Anondopath - আনন্দপাঠ, has been crowned Champion of the Youth Innovation Challenge, organized by Startup Bangladesh Limited.

Out of 80+ competing teams, Anondopath made it to the Top 8 finalists and ultimately secured the Champion title in a highly competitive final round. This remarkable victory showcases the innovation, dedication, and entrepreneurial spirit of our students.

A special thanks to their incredible team, including Nusaiba Binte Mamun (Founder & CEO, Dept. of BECM, RUET), for representing RUET on such a prestigious platform.

Exciting News for MTE Department at RUET!

We are thrilled to announce that the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, RUET has successfully submitted the SAR (Self-Assessment Report) book to BAETE for the undergraduate program. This milestone marks the first time MTE department has applied for accreditation, opening doors for our graduates to enter the global job market through the prestigious Washington Accord.

This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering dedication and sacrifice of our incredible faculty members. Each one of them worked hard tremendously to achieve this feet within a very short period of time. Their hard work and commitment have paved the way for a brighter future for our students. In this journey, they have passed numerous hurdles but they figured out eventually, with the help and support from Honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Engr. Md. Jahangir Alam sir and IQAC, RUET. And last but not least, we can't express our gratitude to Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Razzak sir, Dept. of EEE, IUB and Prof. Dr. Swakkhar Shatabda sir, UIU, for their unwavering support, guidance and motivation.
