A foundational session on the fundamentals of Parliamentary Debate was conducted by Rupok Das Koushik . The session provided an insightful introduction to the core principles, structure, and techniques of parliamentary debating.
Following the introductory segment, the House proceeded to deliberate on the motion:
“This House believes that strict laws can reduce corruption.”
“এই সংসদ বিশ্বাস করে যে কঠোর আইন দুর্নীতি কমাতে পারে।”

THE BEGINNING......
On this day, the PSTU Law Debating Society formally commenced its journey toward excellence and institutional success.
The topic for the session was “আমি যদি বাংলাদেশের প্রধানমন্ত্রী হতাম” (“If I Were the Prime Minister of Bangladesh”). Participants from the 9th and 10th batches delivered commendable performances and rhetorical skills despite having only ten minutes for preparation.
The event was graced by Md. Abdur Rahim, Associate Professor and Chairman of the Department of Law and Land Administration, PSTU. The Convener of the PSTU Law Debating Society, Sadia Haque Raisa, was also present, accompanied by members of the ad hoc committee.
