My name is Mohammad Nazmul Haque (commonly written as Md Nazmul Haque). The school was named after Hazrat Shah Ashraf Zindani (Rh:) who was a great pious man.
I am a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a PhD student in Applied Mathematics in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Kent State University. In 1972 the late Professor Mozammel Haque Shomaji established the school with the aim of removing ignorance from the areas of Shomaj.
