Today, the Center for Research & Innovation (CRI), of R. P. Shaha University successfully organized a seminar on “Legal Research in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” The program commenced with an introductory speech delivered by our respected Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Manindra Kumar Roy. The event was then moderated by the Director of CRI, Dr. MD. Nazmul Hasan, while the Dean of SASS, A.K. Zunayet Ahammed, and the Controller of Examination, Md. Tariqul Islam, PhD, graced the occasion with their esteemed presence. All faculty members of the Department of Law and Human Rights were also present. The keynote presentation was delivered by Aroup Raton Shaha, Head and Assistant Professor, Department of Law and Human Rights.

The students gained advanced understandings of various components of Research and guideliens of use of Artificial Intelligence. They learned how AI is increasingly influencing legal research methodologies, the importance of evaluating sources with critical judgment, and the need to uphold academic integrity in the digital age. The discussion also highlighted the value of combining technological awareness with analytical rigor in contemporary legal scholarship.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all distinguished guests, faculty members, and participants for their gracious presence and valuable contributions to the success of this intellectually enriching program.

Today Students of Dept. of Law and Human Rights of R.P. Shaha University had an exciting opportunity to visit the Narayanganj District and Sessions Court. Brilliant minds of Batch 25 participated on this existing tour as part of their academic curriculum.

We are deeply honoured to receive guidance from the honorable District and Sessions Judge Mr. ‍Md. Abu Shameem Azad, the Chief Judicial Magistrate K. M. Mohiuddin and Mr. Nurul Amin, Senior Civil Judge Narayanganj, who kindly conducted a session for our students and shared valuable insights on judicial practice and professional ethics, future career for Law Students.

The Department of Law and Human Rights, R.P. Shaha University, regularly organizes such programmes to prepare and nurture students for their future careers in law.
