Students of Grade 7 completed Activity 11.8 without any guidance. We do not expect them to produce any flawless texts. We believe that the mistakes they made today will help them improve in future. Continuous practice is the key to achieve fluency and accuracy. We hope that feedbacks on this activity will guide them to avoid making these (pointed) mistakes.

•Students of Grade 7 had the third session for Experience 11 (Let’s Explore the Sentences).
•In the previous class, they read the story titled ‘Bellerophon of Greece’ and discussed it with their group members. They were assisted with limited guidance to understand the text.
•In this session, firstly, their pronunciation of keywords was checked, and they were encouraged to connect their knowledge with reality. In order to do that, they tried to match the words with the relevant pictures. Students’ understanding was also clarified through explanation in Bengali. The words chosen were from the story, and the same words were part of Activity 11.6.
•Then, they practised Activity 11.6, which required them to match the words with their English meanings.
•The teacher revealed the answers after they had completed their tasks by themselves.
*As there was an electricity supply issue, the rest of the class was conducted by other means.*
•In nature, it was significantly a student-centered class and partially teacher-centered.
