Government Laboratory High school is one of the top most schools of greater Mymensingh. It is the bi It is the biggest co-ed government school of Mymensingh.

It was established in 1987 by a convener committee leaded by Mr Salehuzzaman Khan ( Runu). The First S.S.C. batch of this school passed in 1991. The school has an extra ordinary campus beside the historic Alexander Castle. This beautiful greenish campus has big play ground along with several ponds. Government Laboratory High school has a high reputation not only in academic result but also in cultural activities, sports and debates.
