. . . রাত ২টা ২৬ মিনিট।
হঠাৎ মনটা কেমন যেন লিখতে ইচ্ছে করছে—
ঠিক যেমন ছোটবেলায় পাতার পর পাতা ডায়েরি লিখতাম।
একটা সময় ছিল, প্রতিদিন লিখতাম।
জি, সত্যিই— প্রতিদিনই।
২০০৫ সালের ৩রা মের কথা বলছি।
সকাল ৯টা–১০টার রোদে আমার দাদা,
আমিন উল্লাহ পাটোয়ারী,
গ্রামের উঠানে নিজ শরীরে রোঁদ লাগাচ্ছিলেন।
তখন তাঁর বয়স কমপক্ষে ৭৫–৮০ বছর হয়তো হবে।
আমি দাদার কাছে গিয়ে গল্প জুড়ে দিলাম।
একসময় কৌতূহল থেকে জিজ্ঞেস করলাম—
“দাদা, আপনার দাদার নাম কী ছিল?”
দাদা ধীরে ধীরে বলতে শুরু করলেন,
আর আমি ডায়েরিতে লিখতে লাগলাম।
লিখতে লিখতে যেন সময়ের অনেক পেছনে চলে গেলাম।
তবু মনে হলো— যদি আরও জানতে পারতাম!
যদিও “জমা হাজী” পর্যন্ত জানতে পেরেছিলাম,
তবুও মনে হলো, এর ওপরে হয়তো আর কেউ জানে না।
দাদার বয়সে এতকিছু মনে রাখার ক্ষমতা দেখে
আমি মুগ্ধ হয়ে গিয়েছিলাম।
আজ, এত বছর পরে
সেই ডায়েরির নোটটাই এখন
আমাদের আত্মীয়-স্বজনদের মধ্যে ভাইরাল।
সবাই বলে,
“তোর কাছেই নাকি সেই নোট আছে, যা আর কারও কাছে নেই!”
সত্যিই তাই।
দাদা জীবিত থাকাকালীন ছিলেন আমাদের সবার মুরব্বি,
বংশের প্রাচীনতম মানুষ।
এরপর শুধু সেই নোট নিয়েই থেমে থাকিনি—
সময় পেলেই আত্মীয়দের খুঁজে খুঁজে
দাদার বলা তথ্য যাচাই করেছি,
বংশলতাটাকে আরও গভীর করেছি।
মজার ব্যাপার হলো আজ আমি যখন লিখছি তার কয়েক ঘন্টা আগেই আমার দাদার বাবা এসহাক মিয়া পাটোয়ারী'র ছোট ভাই "শুকু মিয়া" পাটোয়ারী'র (ছোট ছেলে জনাব দেলোয়ার হোসেন সাব এর বড় ছেলে মিরন)
নাতির বিয়ের দাওয়াত খেয়ে আসলাম।
দেলোয়ার দাদা প্রায়ই বলেন,
“তোমার জন্যই আমরা আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের নাম জানতে পেরেছি।”
আলহামদুলিল্লাহ ❤️
কিন্তু আমাকে সবচেয়ে বেশি আনন্দ দেয় যে বিষয়টা, তা হলো—সবার নাম ধরে ধরে মহান আল্লাহর কাছে তাদের মাগফেরাতের জন্য দোয়া করতে পারা।
আমি হলফ করে বলতে পারি,
আজকের সমাজে অনেকেই দাদার নামের পর আর বলতে পারে না।
কিন্তু আমি আমার দাদার দাদার নাম মনে করে
তাঁদের জন্য দোয়া করতে পারি —
আলহামদুলিল্লাহ।
তাই বলি —
মুরব্বিদের কাছে যান, গল্প করুন, সময় দিন।
দেখবেন এমন কিছু জানতে পারবেন,
যা আপনাকে অন্যদের চেয়ে অনেক বেশি সমৃদ্ধ করবে।
আমি বিশ্বাস করি,
আমার পরবর্তী প্রজন্ম একদিন এই বংশলতাটা দেখে
আমার মতোই গর্ব ও ভালোবাসায় ভরে উঠবে।
আর এদের মধ্যে কেউ না কেউ হয়তো আমার জন্য মন থেকে দোয়া করবে ইনশাআল্লাহ।
আর হয়তো তারা তাদের বন্ধুদের সাথে মজার ছলেই বলবে . . .
“এই শোন, তোমার দাদার নাম জানো?”
“আমার কিন্তু দাদার দাদার দাদার নামও জানা আছে!”
