Nirapod Ami, Shustho Ami This is a Community Action Project by two teachers of Hazi Yusuf Ali Govt. Primary School, Mirpur to empower their students.

The project aims to help our students identify abuse in their homes and empower them to speak up against it and take action. They will write stories of abuse from their own experiences and what they can do in those situations. Professional speakers will talk to them about how to protect themselves. There will be an intervention workshop with the parents to help them see what they have been doing w

rong, discuss, and come up with specific ways they can stop the abuse in their homes. The stories and strategies of the students will be published as a small book to give out and share with the community to spread the awareness about abuse and how it impedes children's achievement.
