Department of Economics-অর্থনীতি বিভাগ, ইসলামী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়। The Department of Economics is the first department of the faculty of Humanities & Social Science. I Founding Chairman Md. Abdur Rab.

It started functioning at the inception of the University in April 29, 1989. Present Chairman

Powers and Functions of the Chairman:

The Chairman shall have the responsibility to plan and co-ordinate the work of the Department. The Chairman shall be responsible to the Faculty for the organization and teaching in his Department subject to such directions as may be given from time to time by the Vice-Chancellor. The Chairman shall be responsible for the general supervision of Department. Other Information’s:
