St. Joseph's High School, Khulna

It was establishedIn 1940 by a Salasian brother named Dawn. the school got recognition from Kolkata University in 1943.After the departure of brother Dawn, Rev. Schilder, Rev. Fr.D.J Wallstone , Rev.Fr.J.N Deneault, Rev. Fr.A.G Bruno,Rev.Fr.Pelizzo,Rev.Fr.Orlando,Mr.A.G Mollick took over the responsibility one by one. Rev.Fr.A.G Bruno was the headmaster for about 16 years. After liberation Mr.A.G Mollick became the headmaster and he as continued up toJune 2002. After his retirement Mr.Birendronath took over the charge for two months. Fro m the first Sep.2002 Alfred Ronjit Mondol became the headmaster and he is still existing. The school has about 1800 students. It has 35 teachers .It has also a nice campus with basket ground, cricket ground and a small football ground for the students. Every year a good number of students achieve glorious result in the JSC,PSC and SSC exam from this institution.
