On February 5th, 2026, the Development Association of Khulna University (DAKU) successfully spearheaded the “Community Awareness and Clean-Up Initiative for the Prevention of Plastic Pollution.” In a powerful display of collective action, we partnered with the Environmental Awareness Club (EAC) and OCEAN, with the invaluable support of the SCIP Plastics Project, to drive environmental responsibility across Khulna University.
Our Mission in Action:
Awareness: Highlighting the critical need to reduce plastic waste.
Impact: A massive campus-wide clean-up effort.
Sustainability: Building long-term habits for a cleaner, greener environment.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all the volunteers and participants whose energy and dedication made this initiative a resounding success. Together, we are proving that organized community efforts are the key to a sustainable future.
খুলনা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ক্যাম্পাসকে প্লাস্টিক দূষণমুক্ত এবং আরও টেকসই করার লক্ষ্যে গত ৫ই ফেব্রুয়ারি, ২০২৬ সফলভাবে সম্পন্ন হলো “প্লাস্টিক দূষণ প্রতিরোধে জনসচেতনতা ও পরিচ্ছন্নতা অভিযান”।
ডিভেলপমেন্ট অ্যাসোসিয়েশন অব খুলনা ইউনিভার্সিটি (DAKU)-এর উদ্যোগে এবং EAC, OCEAN ও SCIP Plastics Project-এর সার্বিক সহযোগিতায় এই কর্মসূচিটি আয়োজিত হয়। কেবলমাত্র ক্যাম্পাস পরিষ্কার করা নয় আমাদের লক্ষ্য নয়, বরং পরিবেশ রক্ষায় শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে সচেতনতা ও ব্যক্তিগত দায়বদ্ধতা তৈরি করাই আমাদের মূল উদ্দেশ্য।
কার্যক্রমের মূল দিকগুলো:
সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি: প্লাস্টিক দূষণের ক্ষতিকর প্রভাব সম্পর্কে আলোচনা।
সরাসরি পদক্ষেপ: ক্যাম্পাসের বিভিন্ন পয়েন্টে পরিচ্ছন্নতা কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা।
যৌথ প্রচেষ্টা: বিভিন্ন সংগঠনের সমন্বয়ে পরিবেশ রক্ষায় ঐক্যবদ্ধ হওয়া।
এই উদ্যোগকে সফল করতে যেসব স্বেচ্ছাসেবক ও অংশগ্রহণকারী অক্লান্ত পরিশ্রম করেছেন, তাদের প্রতি আমরা জানাই আন্তরিক ধন্যবাদ। আপনাদের স্বতঃস্ফূর্ত অংশগ্রহণই আমাদের আগামীর অনুপ্রেরণা।
