The Human Resource Management Alumni Association, Khulna University has successfully organized a two-day “Intra-Discipline Indoor Sports Tournament 2026” for the first time, bringing together current students and faculty members of the Human Resource Management Discipline.

The event features exciting indoor games including Chess, Ludo, Card, and Carrom.

Here’s a few glimpses from Day 1 of the tournament.

Zamil Ahmed Limon (URP 17), who had been missing since 16th April is no more. Yesterday, a body was recovered from the Howard Frankland bridge in Tampa, Florida, dumped inside a bag. Police confirmed the remains found were of Limon’s. His roommate is suspected to be behind the murder.

Human Resource Management Alumni Association, Khulna University (HRMAAKU) is deeply saddened by loss of Zamil Ahmed Limon. Our prayers and condolences for his family and friends. We hope the murderer is brought under justice.

May Allah grant him Jannah and help his family bear such loss.

আমরা, খুলনা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের হিউম্যান রিসোর্স ম্যানেজমেন্ট অ্যালামনাই অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সদস্যবৃন্দ, অত্যন্ত উদ্বেগের সাথে জানাচ্ছি যে, হিউম্যান রিসোর্স ম্যানেজমেন্ট ডিসিপ্লিনের সকল শিক্ষার্থী তাদের চলমান অবকাঠামোগত সংকট ও দীর্ঘদিনের পুঞ্জীভূত সমস্যার নিরসন চেয়ে সম্প্রতি একটি শান্তিপূর্ণ পদযাত্রা এবং মাননীয় ভিসি মহোদয়কে স্মারকলিপি দিয়েছে । আমরা তাদের উত্থাপিত প্রতিটি দাবির সাথে সম্পূর্ণ একমত এবং তাদের এই যৌক্তিক ও ন্যায্য দাবিগুলোর প্রতি আমাদের অকুণ্ঠ সমর্থন ব্যক্ত করছি।

এটি অত্যন্ত হতাশাজনক এবং লজ্জাজনক যে, ২০১৬ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হওয়ার পর দীর্ঘ নয় বছর এর বেশি পেরিয়ে গেলেও হিউম্যান রিসোর্স ম্যানেজমেন্ট ডিসিপ্লিনের মতো একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ও সম্ভাবনাময় ডিসিপ্লিনের জন্য আজ পর্যন্ত কোনো স্থায়ী শ্রেণিকক্ষ, শিক্ষকদের জন্য বসার নির্দিষ্ট কক্ষ, সেমিনার কক্ষ বা অফিস বরাদ্দ করা হয়নি। ন্যূনতম প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক সুযোগ-সুবিধা ছাড়া একটি ডিসিপ্লিনের একাডেমিক কার্যক্রম যে কতটা ব্যাহত হতে পারে, তা আমরা উপলব্ধি করতে পারি। এই সংকট শুধুমাত্র বর্তমান শিক্ষার্থীদের পড়াশোনার মানকেই ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত করছে না, বরং খুলনা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সুনাম এবং আমাদের ডিসিপ্লিনের ভবিষ্যৎ সম্ভাবনাকেও ম্লান করে দিচ্ছে।

আমরা দৃঢ়ভাবে বিশ্বাস করি, আমাদের উত্তরসূরীরা একটি সুস্থ ও সহায়ক পরিবেশে তাদের জ্ঞানার্জন চালিয়ে যাওয়ার অধিকার রাখে। তাদের মেধা ও সম্ভাবনার পূর্ণ বিকাশের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় অবকাঠামো নিশ্চিত করা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রশাসনের নৈতিক দায়িত্ব। তাই আমরা হিউম্যান রিসোর্স ম্যানেজমেন্ট ডিসিপ্লিনের জন্য অবিলম্বে স্থায়ী শ্রেণিকক্ষ, শিক্ষকদের জন্য সুনির্দিষ্ট অফিস কক্ষ এবং প্রয়োজনীয় অন্যান্য অবকাঠামোগত সুবিধা নিশ্চিত করার জন্য বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রশাসনের দ্রুত পদক্ষেপ কামনা করছি।
