Objectives
• To understand the relationship between human body
dimensions and architectural space.
• To analyze how physical disabilities alter anthropometric
requirements and spatial needs.
• To study movement patterns, posture, reach, and circulation
using assistive devices.
• To develop sensitivity toward inclusive and universal design
principles.
• To translate human-centered studies into architectural thinking
and representation.

Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un.

We truly don’t have the words for this. The pain feels unbearable as we share the devastating news of losing our beloved junior brother, S.M. Sayeem Ferdous (Student ID: 2425030), a student of the Department of Architecture at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET).

Yesterday (17/05/26), he met with a tragic accident in the pond in front of Khan Jahan Ali Hall. Despite all possible efforts to save him and being taken immediately to Khulna Medical College Hospital, he was declared deceased at around 5:30 PM.

This loss cuts too deep. He wasn’t just another student of our department—he was our little brother, someone who belonged to us. It is painfully hard to accept that we will no longer see him around, no more familiar faces in the studio, no more quiet presence among us. The void he has left in our department feels impossible to fill, and the grief is something words can hardly carry.

From all of us at অতন্দ্র'২৩, we pray that Almighty Allah surrounds him with His mercy, forgives all his shortcomings, and grants him the highest place in Jannat. May Allah give his family, friends, and all of us the strength and patience to endure this heartbreaking loss.
