🕯️ A Night of Remembrance | Nims Dai & His Team

With heavy hearts, the International Student Association (ISA), Jashore University of Science and Technology, came together this evening to honor and remember Nirmal “Nims Dai” Purja and his team.
Through the gentle glow of candles and a moment of silence, we remembered their extraordinary courage, their journeys through the mountains, and the legacy they leave behind.
For us Nepalis, Nims Dai was more than a mountaineer. He was a symbol of courage, determination, resilience, and national pride. His achievements inspired people far beyond the mountains, and his journey will continue to inspire generations to come.
Tonight, as students from different backgrounds stood together, we were reminded that grief knows no borders, and respect brings us together.
Our deepest condolences go to the families, friends, teammates, and loved ones of Nims Dai and his team.
May their souls rest in peace.
May their courage continue to inspire us.
May their legacy live forever. 🕯️🏔️

First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my amazing juniors. ❤️

The surprise you planned for my birthday was something I never expected, and the time, effort, and love you put into every detail truly touched my heart. It wasn't just a celebration—it was a reminder of the beautiful bond we share as one international family. Your kindness and thoughtfulness made this birthday one of the most memorable days of my life.

To everyone who sent their warm wishes, messages, and blessings, thank you so much for your love and support. I sincerely appreciate each and every one of you.

As the President of the International Student Association, I feel incredibly proud and fortunate to be surrounded by such caring, supportive, and wonderful people. Thank you all for making this day so special. I will always cherish these memories.

Every goodbye marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
Yesterday, we bid farewell to our beloved senior brother, Sajit Ghising, as he returned to Nepal after successfully completing his academic journey in Bangladesh.
Sajit Dai has been more than just a senior to us—he has been a supportive brother, a kind friend, and someone who made our time away from home feel a little more like family. His warmth, humility, and the countless memories we shared through campus life, celebrations, outings, and everyday moments will always hold a special place in our hearts.
While we will miss your presence, we are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved. As you begin this new chapter back home in Nepal, we wish you endless success, happiness, good health, and fulfillment in all your future endeavors.
