JSTU Research Society

The innovative event “IdeaSpark: Fresher Research Showcase”, organized by JSTU Research Society, was successfully held at Jamalpur Science and Technology University (JSTU).

The programme aimed to promote research-oriented thinking, creativity, and instant presentation skills among freshers. Students from different departments enthusiastically participated in research-based poster presentations, making the event vibrant and inspiring.

The programme was graced by the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Mohammad Raknuzzaman, as the Chief Guest, along with respected Chairpersons and faculty members from different departments.

The event was led by Shajada Akter, President of JSTU Research Society, who emphasized the importance of research, innovation, and academic engagement among new students.

প্রথম পর্বে থাকবে নতুন সদস্যদের বরণ, শুভেচ্ছা বক্তব্য এবং সম্মানিত অতিথিবৃন্দের বক্তব্য।

দ্বিতীয় পর্বে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে তাৎক্ষণিক পোস্টার প্রেজেন্টেশন প্রতিযোগিতা এবং পরবর্তীতে পুরস্কার ও সার্টিফিকেট বিতরণ।

📌 প্রতিযোগিতার নিয়মাবলি:

* JSTU Research Society কর্তৃক নির্ধারিত কয়েকটি টপিক প্রদান করা হবে।
* অংশগ্রহণকারীরা পছন্দ অনুযায়ী একটি টপিক নির্বাচন করে তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে পোস্টার তৈরি ও প্রেজেন্টেশন প্রদান করবে।
* পোস্টার তৈরির জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় পোস্টার পেপার ও পেন Research Society থেকে সরবরাহ করা হবে।
* সম্মানিত এডভাইজর বোর্ডের সদস্যবৃন্দ বিচারক হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করবেন।
* প্রতিযোগিতায় বিজয়ী প্রথম তিনজনকে উপাচার্য মহোদয় পুরস্কার ও সার্টিফিকেট প্রদান করবেন।

JSTU Research Society successfully hosted an online research workshop on 23rd December 2025 via Zoom, with Enayet Chowdhury sir as the guest speaker.
Key discussion areas included research initiation , research guidance, and fundamental research practices. The interactive Q&A session added great value to the learning experience.

We’re glad to announce that the form distribution and submission process for the JSTU Research Society (JSTURS) Member Recruitment 2025 has been successfully completed! ✅

The recruitment period was held from 2–5 November 2025, and we are truly grateful for the overwhelming interest and enthusiasm shown by the students.

The viva/interview session is expected to be held in mid-November, and shortlisted applicants will be informed soon.

📚✨ Successful Completion of Seminar on “Research Methodology and Paper Writing” ✨📚

Today, JSTU Research Society (JSTURS) has successfully organized a seminar titled “Research Methodology and Paper Writing” at the Conference Room, Academic Building, Jamalpur Science and Technology University (JSTU).

🎓 The event was funded by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), JSTU and supported by the Advisory Board of JSTURS.
Honourable Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Rakunzzaman graced the event as the Chief Guest, while honourable Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Musharaf Hossain and Registrar Mr. Mohammad Nur Hossain Chowdhury joined as Special Guests.

The keynote speaker was the distinguished researcher Dr. Mohammad Shahjahan, who shared his profound insights on research methodology, academic ethics, and effective scientific writing.

💡 Initially, we expected around 150–200 participants, but the overwhelming response exceeded all expectations —
a total of 240 participants joined the seminar!
This impressive participation reflects the growing enthusiasm for research among JSTU students and faculty members.

Special thanks to our Advisory Board Members for their continuous guidance and support.
Heartfelt appreciation to our President Shajada Akter Shimla, General Secretary Ruknuzzaman Zim, and the entire organizing committee for their dedication and teamwork behind today’s success.
