Day 1 of the IUT 12th ICT Fest, organized by IUT Computer Society(IUTCS), brought together brilliant minds from across the country to compete, create, and connect.
The day began in the morning with the FIFA tournament and the 24-hour Hackathon kicking off side by side. While gamers battled it out match after match on the FIFA front, all the way through to a hard-fought final, our hackers settled in for the long haul, diving straight into a day-long sprint of coding, problem-solving, and building.
As Day 1 draws to a close, the FIFA tournament has crowned its champion, while the Hackathon continues through the night, with our hackers deep into their projects as the clock keeps ticking. We cannot wait to see what they bring to the table by the time it finally runs out.
A huge thank you to our participants for their enthusiasm, our volunteers for keeping things running smoothly, and our judges and mentors for their invaluable guidance throughout the day.
Day 1 has set the tone, and Day 2 promises to bring even more excitement. Stay tuned.
