Announcement for Admission for Academic Year 2018-19.

Classes of session 2017-2018 has been started from today: 8 January 2018.

IUT admission test will be held on 23 Nov 2016 Wednesday from 10:00 am to 12:00 PM at the IUT campus. Candidates, please be reminded that it is weekday. Moreover this year around 5000 candidates are going to attend the test. IUT is located at Board Bazar, Gazipur beside the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway. Normally it is very traffic jam prone road. When around 5000 candidates will try to reach the venue around 9:00 am I suspect that there will be more than 1 km jam around IUT.

Therefore I suggest the candidates to reach IUT early in the morning even before 8:00 am. Since campus does not have the capacity to accommodate large number of vehicles in the parking, so car/ micro bus /or other vehicles will not be allowed to enter inside the campus. Naturally dropping the candidates at the main gate may create serious traffic jam. Therefore early reaching at IUT will be safe to sit for the Admission Test in time.

Admission Test Venue: IUT Campus, 20 Nov 2015, Friday 09:30 AM (Candidates are advised to report by 8:30 am)

MCQ Based Test (100 Questions, Medium: English)

* Total Marks 100 (Math, Physics, Chemistry, English), 25% marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

* Mobile phone is not allowed in the examination hall. Anyone found with mobile phone will be expelled immediately.

* Programmable Calculators are not allowed in the Test

* Candidates must bring HSC/Alim registration card or Passport or any other photo attached ID card for verification. Otherwise he will not be allowed to sit for admission test.

* Candidates must also bring printed copy of Admit Card Generated from IUT website between 5-15 November 2015.

IUT Admission for the Academic Year 2015-2016 Candidates must apply through Teletalk SMS service from 25 August 2015 to 02 October 2015. Candidates from English medium must apply through iut website then pay through TeleTalk.

প্রশ্নঃ এনরোলমেন্ট কল এর অর্থ কি?
উত্তরঃ তুমি এখনো আই.ইউ.টিতে হতে ইচ্ছুক এটা আই.ইউ.টি অথরিটিকে জানানোর জন্যে এনরোলমেন্ট কল করা হয়েছে। ।

প্রশ্নঃ এনরোলমেন্ট কল এর প্রয়োজনীয়তা কেন?
উত্তরঃ আই.ইউ.টিতে ভর্তি চয়েস নেওয়া হয়েছে বেশ আগে। ইতিমধ্যেই অনেকে বিভিন্ন স্থানে ভর্তি হয়ে গিয়েছে। এখন যারা আসলেই আই.ইউ.টি তে ভর্তি হতে ইচ্ছুক তাদের নাম জানার জন্যে এনরোলমেন্ট কল দেওয়া হয়েছে।

প্রশ্নঃ এনরোলমেন্ট কলে সাড়া না দিলে কি হবে?
উত্তরঃ যাদের এনরোলমেন্ট এর জন্যে ডাকা হয়েছে তারা এনরোল না করলে আই.ইউ.টিতে ভর্তির জন্যে পরবর্তীতে তাদের নাম আর বিবেচনা করা হবে না।

প্রশ্নঃ এনরোলমেন্ট কলে কি সবাই নাম দিতে পারবে?
উত্তরঃ না।এনরোলমেন্ট এর জন্যে যাদের নামের লিস্ট ওয়েব সাইটে প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে শুধু তারাই এখন তাদের নাম এনরোল করতে পারবে। রেগুলার ও সেল্ফ-ফাইন্যান্সে এনরোল করার জন্যে আলাদা লিস্ট প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে।

প্রশ্নঃ এনরোলমেন্ট কলে নাম দিলেই কি ভর্তি হওয়া যাবে?
উত্তরঃ না। তবে যারা এনরোল করবে শুধু তাদের মধ্যে থেকেই মেধা অনুসারে ফাঁকা আসন অনুযায়ী পরবর্তীতে ভর্তির জন্যে নির্বাচিত করা হবে।

প্রশ্নঃ এনরোল এর পরে কবে ভর্তির জন্যে কল দেওয়া হবে?
উত্তরঃ এনরোলমেন্ট এর পরে ভর্তির জন্যে কল দেওয়া হবে (৭ম কল) ১০ই জানুয়ারী। এই কলে ভর্তির সময়সীমা হবে ১২-১৪ জানুয়ারী ২০১৫।

প্রশ্নঃ আই.ইউ.টি তে কত তারিখ পর্যন্ত ভর্তি প্রক্রিয়া চলবে?
উত্তরঃ আসন ফাঁকা থাকা সাপেক্ষে ২২ জানুয়ারী ২০১৫ পর্যন্ত আই.ইউ.টির বর্তমান সেশনে ভর্তি প্রক্রিয়া চলবে। এর পরে আর কোন ভর্তি সম্পন্ন হবে না।
