A five-member delegation from BIST Textile Club had the privilege of participating in the BAYLA Future Summit 2026 – Shaping the Future of Apparel.

The summit brought together industry leaders, innovators, and professionals to discuss the future of the apparel sector through leadership, innovation, technology, and sustainability. It was an invaluable opportunity for our delegates to gain industry insights, build professional networks, and explore emerging trends.

At BIST Textile Club, we strongly believe that learning extends beyond the classroom. Participation in industry summits, seminars, conferences, and networking events plays a vital role in developing future-ready textile professionals. We are committed to encouraging our members to engage in such opportunities for their personal and professional growth.

Assalamu Alaikum,

We are excited to announce that BIST Textile Club has started a knowledge-sharing collaboration with Textile and Garments Merchandising (TGM) & Bunon Bee to provide continuous learning opportunities for our members.

Under this collaboration, all members of BIST Textile Club will get free access to upcoming sessions, workshops, and training programs organized by TGM & Bunon Bee.

BGIFT-এ আনুষ্ঠানিক যাত্রা শুরু করল BIST Textile Club

টেক্সটাইল শিক্ষা, গবেষণা, দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন এবং শিক্ষার্থীদের পেশাগত সক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে BGIFT Institute of Science and Technology (BGIFT)-এ আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে যাত্রা শুরু করেছে BIST Textile Club।

ক্লাবটির সূচনা হয়েছে চারজন প্রতিষ্ঠাতা (Co-Founder)-এর নেতৃত্বে। তারা হলেন— MD Abdul Rafew (President), Niaj Mahmud Siam (Vice President, Operations), Md Mehedi Hasan Rony (General Secretary) এবং Sharin Siddik Tanni (Director, Academic & Research Wing)।

প্রতিষ্ঠাতারা জানান, BIST Textile Club শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য একটি কার্যকর প্ল্যাটফর্ম হিসেবে কাজ করবে। ক্লাবের মাধ্যমে সেমিনার, ওয়ার্কশপ, গবেষণামূলক কার্যক্রম, শিল্প-একাডেমিয়া সংযোগ, ক্যারিয়ার উন্নয়নমূলক উদ্যোগ এবং বিভিন্ন সহশিক্ষা কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করা হবে। এর মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীদের বাস্তবমুখী জ্ঞান ও নেতৃত্বের দক্ষতা বিকাশে সহায়তা করা হবে।

তারা আরও বলেন, দেশের টেক্সটাইল শিল্পের বর্তমান ও ভবিষ্যৎ চাহিদার সঙ্গে সামঞ্জস্য রেখে দক্ষ মানবসম্পদ গড়ে তোলার লক্ষ্যেই ক্লাবটির যাত্রা। পাশাপাশি শিক্ষার্থীদের উদ্ভাবনী চিন্তা, গবেষণার আগ্রহ এবং পেশাগত নেটওয়ার্ক সম্প্রসারণে BIST Textile Club গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবে বলে আশা প্রকাশ করেন।

শিক্ষার্থীদের অংশগ্রহণ ও সহযোগিতার মাধ্যমে ক্লাবটি ভবিষ্যতে আরও বৃহৎ পরিসরে কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করবে এবং টেক্সটাইল শিক্ষায় ইতিবাচক অবদান রাখবে বলে সংশ্লিষ্টরা আশাবাদ ব্যক্ত করেছেন।

BIST Textile Club has officially commenced its journey at BGIFT Institute of Science & Technology BIST (BIST), marking a significant milestone in promoting student leadership, academic excellence, and professional engagement within the textile sector.

The founding leadership of the club comprises:

It is noteworthy that Niaj Mahmud Siam, Md Mehedi Hasan Rony, and Sharin Siddik Tanni are currently serving as Textile Focus Campus Ambassadors, reflecting their active involvement in advancing knowledge sharing, leadership, and collaboration within the textile community.

Official Announcement

We are excited to introduce the Founding Interim Executive Committee – 2026 of the BIST Textile Club , officially approved by the Principal of BGIFT Institute of Science & Technology , Mr. Mohammad Deluware Hosain.

As the very first committee in our club's journey, this interim team has been entrusted with building the club's foundation—developing its structure, preparing policies, recruiting members, and creating a strong roadmap for future activities.

This committee will serve for one month, after which it will submit the proposed Final Executive Committee for approval.

Congratulations to all the newly appointed members! We wish you the very best as you begin this exciting journey of leadership, teamwork, and innovation. Together, let's build a strong and impactful textile community at BIST.
