As part of ASME’s Community Impact Month, the ASME IUT Student Section visited Rajab Ali Bidyaniketan to promote hygiene and cleanliness among young students. Through an interactive awareness session, we emphasized the importance of proper waste disposal and maintaining a clean environment.
To make the experience more engaging and innovative, we also showcased a Smart AI Garbage Sorter—demonstrating how technology can play a vital role in managing waste efficiently and building smarter, cleaner communities.
As a token of our commitment, we donated two trash bins to the institution—taking a small yet meaningful step toward encouraging better habits.
Bringing together engineering and environmental responsibility, we aim to inspire solutions that create a cleaner and more sustainable future.

Happy Independence Day!
On this day, 26th March, 1971, along with the new dawn, the emergence of a nation occurred. As a result of countless acts of oppression, the birth of an independent Bangladesh took place. We remember and honour all the souls whose sacrifices brought us our sovereignty. Their sacrifices still inspire us to stand up against injustice and oppression.

Laylatul Qadr – A Night of Mercy and Hope
A night more precious than a thousand months — when prayers are heard, sins are forgiven and our destinies are written by Allah. As we step into the last ten nights of Ramadan, let us increase our prayers, seek forgiveness sincerely and make the most of these blessed moments.
During these sacred nights, we also remember our three beloved brothers whom we lost so tragically and our brother Jahiduzzaman Tanvin, who was martyred during the July protest. We pray that Allah grants them the highest place in Jannah and gives patience and strength to their families.
May this blessed night bring peace, guidance and success to everyone.
