Presenting our Trailblazers – the Changemakers Shaping Tomorrow!

Team VisionAid from Feni Govt. College Science Club has achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the Bronze Medal in the National Round of the World Youth STEM Invention Innovation (WYSII) 2026. With this achievement, the team has officially qualified to represent Bangladesh at the International Round, scheduled to be held from 29 January to 2 February 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Competing in the Computing, AI & Digital Innovation category, their project “VisionAid: Smart Assistive Glass for the Visually Impaired” stood out for its purpose-driven design and innovative application of AI to support visually impaired individuals. This achievement reflects both technical excellence and a strong commitment to solving real-world challenges.

The National Round was organised by the Bangladesh Young Scientists & Innovators Society (BYSIS) in collaboration with the Malaysia Young Scientists Organisation (MYSO). Securing a national-level medal at such a prestigious platform showcases the growing strength of young innovators from Feni Govt. College and highlights their capability to compete internationally.

Team VisionAid will now carry the flag of Bangladesh to the global stage in Bangkok, joining leading young scientists and innovators from around the world.

Team VisionAid from Feni Government College Science Club proudly earned the Honorable Prize at the Innovation World Cup 2026 – Bangladesh National Round, organized by Dreams of Bangladesh in partnership with MIICA, Malaysia.

Their innovation, VisionAid — an AI-powered smart glass for the visually impaired — impressed judges with its real-world impact and accessibility.

The team will now represent Bangladesh at the International Round in Bandung, Indonesia (28–31 January 2026).
