Aarong Brand Strategies

Aarong has built its brand by becoming part of its customers’ biggest life moments rather than simply selling products. Throughout the year, it creates event-based experiences such as Winter Wonderland, Sehri Nights during Ramadan, Eid, Pohela Boishakh, wedding campaigns, and festive collections that connect with different occasions. This strategy keeps the brand relevant across seasons, strengthens emotional connections with customers, and encourages repeat engagement. By making every major celebration an opportunity to interact with the brand, Aarong has transformed event marketing into one of its strongest long-term customer loyalty and brand-building strategies.

Future of Dhaka

Heavy rainfall of 70–90 mm within just a few hours recently caused widespread waterlogging across parts of Dhaka. This means that every 1 square metre of land received approximately 70–90 litres of rainwater in a very short time. However, the problem is not rainfall alone. Inadequate drainage capacity, clogged drains caused by plastic waste, the loss of canals and wetlands, and unplanned urban development all contribute to the city’s recurring flooding. The result is severe traffic congestion, disruptions to schools and businesses, economic losses, and increased public health risks. Building a more resilient Dhaka will require better urban planning, improved drainage infrastructure, environmental protection, and responsible waste management from all of us.

WC hosting is actually a Marketing Campaign!
The FIFA World Cup is not just a football tournament; it is a global business and marketing opportunity. Hosting the World Cup helps countries promote tourism, attract investment, develop infrastructure, and build a stronger global image. The business model is powered by sponsorships, broadcasting rights, ticket sales, hospitality, merchandise, and partnerships between FIFA, governments, and brands.

Since 1930, World Cup host countries have included Uruguay, Italy, France, Brazil, Switzerland, Sweden, Chile, England, Mexico, West Germany, Argentina, Spain, USA, Germany, South Africa, Japan, South Korea, and Qatar. Upcoming hosts are Canada, Mexico, USA (2026), Morocco, Portugal, Spain (2030), and Saudi Arabia (2034). The World Cup has become one of the world’s biggest platforms for sports, marketing, and nation branding.

Try hard

Murphy’s Law is a simple idea that says, “Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.” It reflects the tendency of life to surprise us with unexpected problems at the worst possible time. While it sounds pessimistic, it’s often used humorously to remind us to plan carefully and prepare for risks, because things don’t always go as smoothly as we expect.

FIFA World Cup 2026 & Bangladesh

The FIFA World Cup is not just a football tournament in Bangladesh; it is a month-long festival of emotions, passion, and togetherness. Every four years, the entire country transforms into a football arena where streets, tea stalls, offices, and social media are filled with discussions about teams, players, and predictions. Although Bangladesh has never qualified for the World Cup, the love for football runs deep, with millions of fans passionately supporting teams like Argentina, Brazil, Germany, France, and others. The tradition of painting houses with team colors, flying giant flags, arranging match screenings, and friendly debates between rival supporters has become a unique part of Bangladeshi culture. Beyond the competition, the World Cup creates new conversations, brings people closer, and gives everyone a shared experience filled with excitement, joy, and unforgettable memories.

Living like Himu for a while.
Those who have zero clue about Himu -

Himu is one of the most iconic fictional characters created by Humayun Ahmed, introduced in his novel series Himu series starting with Mayurakkhi (1990).

Himu is a young man who deliberately chooses an unconventional and “jobless” life. He often wears a yellow panjabi, walks barefoot or travels by rickshaw across Dhaka, and avoids normal social expectations like career, money, or stability. Instead of following logic or planning, he trusts instinct and lives in a mysterious, almost philosophical way.

What makes Himu unique is his calm detachment from material life. He often behaves strangely in the eyes of society, yet he remains peaceful, observant, and strangely wise. People around him sometimes see him as mad, sometimes as a mystic, and sometimes as someone who understands life more deeply than others.

The stories are not about traditional plots or big events. Instead, they explore emotions, human psychology, loneliness, love, and the absurdity of everyday life in Dhaka. Through Himu’s wandering life, Humayun Ahmed presents a different philosophy—one that questions routine living and celebrates simplicity, freedom, and uncertainty.

In short, Himu is not just a character—he is a mindset:
a symbol of walking away from the crowd and quietly observing life from the outside.
