International Mother Language Day – February

February is a month of pride, honor, and remembrance for the people of Bangladesh. It is the month when we pay tribute to the brave language martyrs who sacrificed their lives in 1952 to protect our mother language, Bangla. Their courage gave us the right to speak in our own language and preserve our cultural identity.

At BRAC School, we believe that language is not just a means of communication — it is the foundation of knowledge, culture, and identity. Through education, we encourage our students to respect their mother language, learn its history, and carry forward the values of sacrifice and patriotism.

This February, we remember the heroes of the Language Movement and inspire our students to honor their legacy through learning, respect, and love for Bangla.

আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস – ফেব্রুয়ারি

ফেব্রুয়ারি আমাদের গর্ব, সম্মান ও আত্মত্যাগের মাস। ১৯৫২ সালের এই মাসে আমাদের ভাষা শহীদরা মাতৃভাষা বাংলার মর্যাদা রক্ষার জন্য নিজেদের জীবন উৎসর্গ করেছিলেন। তাদের সাহস ও আত্মত্যাগের কারণেই আমরা আজ স্বাধীনভাবে আমাদের মাতৃভাষায় কথা বলতে পারি এবং আমাদের সংস্কৃতি ও পরিচয়কে অটুট রাখতে পারি।
