🎉FROM 400+ PARTICIPANTS TO THE NATIONAL STAGE.🎖️🏆

This is not just a certificate.
This is not just a medal.
This is a recognition earned through competition, research, debate, and merit at the national level.

The National Parliamentary Olympiad Bangladesh 2026 — Budget Session brought together 400+ participants from 150+ institutions across all 64 districts of Bangladesh—creating a highly competitive national platform for young minds passionate about parliamentary affairs, economics, public policy, research, debate, and leadership.

But participation was only the beginning.

To earn a place among the final recipients, participants had to successfully navigate three rigorous rounds of national competition:

01 | NATIONAL SELECTION ROUND

A competitive national assessment designed to identify participants with strong knowledge, analytical ability, and understanding of parliamentary affairs and public issues.

02 | RESEARCH & POLICY DEVELOPMENT SUBMISSION

Selected participants advanced to a research-intensive round where they were challenged to develop and submit research and policy-oriented work, demonstrating their ability to analyse real-world issues and formulate informed policy perspectives.

03 | PARLIAMENTARY DEBATE SIMULATION

The strongest participants then moved to the final stage—a simulated parliamentary debate, where they represented parliamentary benches, defended positions, responded to opposing arguments, and demonstrated their ability to think, argue, and decide under pressure.

From 400+ participants...

→ Top 20 advanced through the national selection process.
→ Top 10 earned their place in the final stage.
→ The final participants represented their respective parliamentary benches in the National Parliamentary Debate Simulation.

And after completing this journey, they earned something far more meaningful than a piece of paper.

The National Parliamentary Olympiad of Bangladesh and whole ABI is deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic loss of lives caused by the devastating floods and landslides that have struck Nepal.

We extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt solidarity to the people of Nepal and to all those affected by this devastating disaster. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have lost their lives, as well as their families and loved ones who are bearing this immense loss.

At this difficult hour, we stand in solidarity with the people of Nepal and hope for the safety, strength, and recovery of all affected communities. We sincerely wish Nepal resilience and a swift recovery from this devastating crisis.

🏆 MEET THE CHAMPION TEAM | NATIONAL PARLIAMENTARY OLYMPIAD 2026 — BUDGET SESSION🏆🥇🎉

From more then 400+ registrations across Bangladesh to the final parliamentary chamber — this journey was never just about winning. It was about merit, research, argument, teamwork, and the courage to lead.

The National Parliamentary Olympiad 2026 — Budget Session began with 400+ aspiring young parliamentarians from across the country. After the first round, the journey narrowed to a select group who advanced to the Parliamentary Research & Policy Development Submission, where only 20 participants were selected based on their analytical ability, policy understanding, research, and depth of thought.

Then came the Grand Finale.

From those 20, only 10 finalists earned their place in the final parliamentary simulation — divided into the Government Bench and Opposition Bench, with six representatives ultimately taking the floor to debate, challenge, defend, and deliberate on the motion.

And after the arguments, rebuttals, final statements, and the judges’ deliberation, one team stood above the rest.

🥈 MEET THE 1ST RUNNER-UP TEAM | NATIONAL PARLIAMENTARY OLYMPIAD 2026 — BUDGET SESSION🎉🏅

Every great parliamentary contest is built on two sides — one that proposes, and one that challenges; one that defends a position, and one that demands stronger answers.

The journey to this moment began with more then 400+ registrations from aspiring young leaders across Bangladesh.

Through the first stage, participants competed for the opportunity to advance to the Parliamentary Research & Policy Development Submission. From there, only 20 participants were selected — a group distinguished by their research, analytical thinking, policy understanding, and ability to engage with complex national issues.

Then came the final stage.

Only 10 finalists remained.

They entered the Grand Finale as two parliamentary benches — Government and Opposition — ready to put their research, reasoning, communication, and teamwork to the ultimate test.

After intense speeches, rebuttals, final statements, and a careful adjudication process, the Government Bench emerged as the 1st Runner-Up Team of National Parliamentary Olympiad 2026 — Budget Session.
