📘 M1 Mechanics Tip — Forces in Two Dimensions

When a force acts at an angle, split it into TWO components:

➡ Horizontal component = (Fcosy)
⬆ Vertical component = (Fsiny)

💡 M1 Shortcut:
• Along the base → COS
• Up/Opposite side → SIN

🚨 Cambridge S1 Paper Leak — This Is Unacceptable 🚨
The Cambridge A Level Statistics 1 (S1) paper being leaked before the exam is a serious failure that has destroyed fairness for thousands of honest students.
Students spent months preparing day and night, only to sit for an exam that many already had access to beforehand. This completely damages the integrity of the examination system and creates massive mental pressure on genuine candidates.
Cambridge International must take immediate action:
✔ Conduct a full investigation
✔ Identify how the paper was leaked
✔ Ensure accountability
✔ Arrange a fair retake for affected students
Remaining silent or ignoring the issue would be unfair to every hardworking student who trusted the system.
Exams should reward effort — not access to leaked questions.
