ULAB Language Club successfully hosted its first-ever flagship festival, Language Chronicles, transforming the campus into a vibrant space of creativity, cultural exchange, and interactive learning. The day-long event began at 11:00 AM with an opening ceremony featuring inspiring speeches from Advisor Al Mahmud Rumman, Special Advisor Arifa Ghani Rahman, and Chief Guest Prof. Shamsad Mortuza. Academic excitement kicked off with Language FerryWheel, where students tested their Korean and Japanese language skills through an interactive online quiz, followed by a visually striking Wall Magazine Exhibition showcasing multilingual artistic expressions beyond Bangla and English.

The post-lunch sessions kept the momentum high with emotionally rich Bangla short story performances and the crowd-favorite Cultural and Fictional Cosplay Showcase, which became the highlight of the festival due to its energy, creativity, and audience engagement. Supported by a wide range of partners from food, lifestyle, media, and cosplay communities, the event concluded with speeches from the Convener and Deputy Convener, a cultural program, and a prize-giving ceremony. Marking a memorable debut, Language Chronicles set a strong benchmark for inclusive, youth-driven cultural festivals at ULAB.

📚 Language Chronicles wrapped up at ULAB with a day full of creativity, cultural exchange, and interactive learning. From engaging language quizzes and vibrant Wall Magazine exhibitions to original Bangla short story performances, students showcased their linguistic skills, artistic talents, and storytelling abilities, making the event an enriching celebration of learning and culture.

🦸‍♂️ The festival’s high-energy finale came with the Cultural and Fictional Cosplay segment, bringing characters and creativity to life in front of an enthusiastic audience. Supported by generous partners and celebrated with speeches and awards, Language Chronicles successfully highlighted the innovation, talent, and cultural curiosity of ULAB’s students, leaving a lasting impression on everyone involved.

Cosplay – started as a dynamic evening through wonderful portrayals of characters, turned into the thunderous, display of art as our winners emerged within the crowds!

The Slayer who slashed through the odds and howled as our champion, Our Blaidd! Sajid Lianto!

With the Wind Scar we found our first runner up, our Inuyasha, Arika Ahsan

Language Chronicles hosted a vibrant full-day festival celebrating creativity, cultural exchange and interactive learning. The event began with an opening ceremony attended by the Pro Vice Chancellor, Special Advisor and Advisor, followed by Language FerryWheel, an engaging quiz that tested students’ basic language skills in Korean, Japanese and French.

The program also featured a Wall Magazine Exhibition showcasing student-created posters in languages beyond Bangla and English, along with a Bangla Short Story Performance that highlighted inclusivity, cultural diversity and the emotional richness of Bangla storytelling.

Moreover, the festival’s highlight was the Cultural and Fictional Cosplay segment, which drew strong student participation and audience excitement. The event concluded with a cultural program and prize-giving ceremony, marking another successful edition of Language Chronicles with support from its partners and media collaborators.
