The Department of Architecture, UAP, in collaboration with the UAP Architecture Alumni Association, cordially invites you to the seminar “Jol-Jomi-Jon | Water-Land-People.”
The session will be delivered by Salma Begum, Architect, Artist, and Urbanist, and will explore the lives of river- and wetland-based communities in Bangladesh and their relationship with architecture, landscape, and water.

Through the joint initiative of ASAC-movie club and the 51st Batch “Avro”, our department proudly revived the weekly movie screening tradition on Sunday, 01/02/2026, after a long break.

The screening of “Princess Mononoke” by Hayao Miyazaki was enjoyed with great enthusiasm by the students, and we were honored by the presence of several respected faculty members.

The Department Tour to North Bengal was successfully concluded on 13 January 2026. While the tour was organized by Batch 48 (Chok), its successful ex*****on was made possible through the valuable support of our respected faculty members and the sincere cooperation of all participants. Batch 48 (Chok) expresses its heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved.

Despite careful planning, any large-scale arrangement may have minor limitations. If any inconvenience was caused unintentionally, the Tour Committee of Batch 48 (Chok) sincerely apologizes.

We are thrilled to announce that students from the Department of Architecture, University of Asia Pacific have achieved remarkable success at the 'Bangladesh ArchSummit 2025,' organized by the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB).

The UAP Debate Team, comprising Mahfuza Ferdoush Prova, Mahfuza Tasnim Jarin, and Jannatul Mawa Meem, secured the Runner-Up position in the debate competition.

Additionally, the Quiz Team, featuring Anamika Sarkar Rupa, Syeda Maisha Azmi, Raihan Ramiz, and Sumaiya Bashar Joty, was named 1st Runner-Up in the quiz competition. Congratulations to all the winners for bringing glory to the department!

IAB (institute of Architects Bangladesh) is hosting Bangladesh Arch Summit 2025 where there will be different programs (symposia, round table discussions, lectures and talks, exhibitions) by different sorts of people (architecture students, architects, academicians, experts and others).

The program is scheduled from 11 to 13th December. 11th is particularly for students. The debate competition is already on and you are aware of UAP team securing a spot in the finals. The quiz will take place on the same day where UAP shall be conpetiting with other universities. It will be followed by 2 lectures from 2 scholars -Fuad Sir and Mahbub Sir.

The event of 11th is open for students and is free of charge. Though there are no refreshments or food, it is worth visiting!

You are more than welcome to come and visit, cheer for your fellow seniors who are competing in the student competitions, attend the lectures/talks and have a look at the exhibition.

The Department of Architecture, University of Asia Pacific has secured their place in the Final Round of the ArchSummit 2025 Debate Competition by defeating the Architecture team of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.
