UIU Aerial Robotics Team had the opportunity to present our UAV prototype and full-scale aerial platform to our Honorable Vice Chancellor of United International University Prof. Dr. Md. Abul Kashem Mia Sir, Prof Dr. A.K.M. Muzahidul Islam Sir, and Lecturer Azizur Rahman Anik Sir.

We also conducted a successful test run, demonstrating the progress and performance of our system through practical implementation and live flight testing.

The positive feedback and support truly motivates us to keep pushing forward and achieving even greater milestones in autonomous aerial robotics and engineering innovation.

Episode 1: Before Drones Had Wings

There was a time when “flying” wasn’t technology!! It was a dream people carried in their eyes.
Long before drones, before airplanes, before engines… humans used to look up at the sky and wonder, “What if we could go there?”

In ancient China, people flew kites not for fun at first, but for signaling, measuring distance, even military use. It was simple, but it proved one thing:
The sky was not unreachable.Centuries later, a man named Leonardo da Vinci filled pages with sketches of flying machines. They never actually flew, but the idea was there—machines inspired by birds, powered by imagination.Back then, there were no motors, no sensors, no code.
Just curiosity… and a stubborn belief that humans belonged in the air. And that belief slowly turned into experiments.
Experiments turned into designs.
Designs turned into machines.What we today call a drone is not just a piece of technology,
It's the result of hundreds of years of dreaming, failing, and trying again.
This is where our story begins.
Not with circuits or propellers… but with a question:

“How do we fly without being on board?”

Because in the next chapter, flying will no longer be about humans in the sky—
but machines that go there for us.

বছর ঘুরে আবার এলো বৈশাখ, নতুন দিনের শুরু, নতুন স্বপ্নের আহ্বান। পুরোনো সব ক্লান্তি, আর অপূর্ণতাগুলোকে পেছনে ফেলে আমরা আবারও এগিয়ে চলার সাহস খুঁজি। এই নতুন বছরে স্বপ্নগুলো যেন শুধু কল্পনায় না থাকে, বরং বাস্তবের আকাশে ডানা মেলে উড়তে শেখে।

যেখানে ছোট ছোট চেষ্টা একদিন বড় অর্জনে রূপ নেয়, শুধু আরেকটু সামনে এগিয়ে যাওয়ার অনুপ্রেরণা, আমাদের পথচলা। নতুন বছর হোক সম্ভাবনার, সাহসের, আর নতুন উচ্চতায় পৌঁছানোর গল্প।

Today, our UART members had the privilege of visiting OVTIDOSE alongside our respected mentors Dr. A. K. M. Muzahidul Islam, Dr. Riasat Azim, and Azizur Rahman Anik. The visit was filled with insightful discussions on future possibilities, innovation, and collaborative growth, giving us fresh perspectives and exciting ideas for what lies ahead.

Another giant leap for mankind, another story to tell.Pushing limits, chasing dreams, and proving that nothing is impossible. Here’s to human curiosity and courage leading us beyond the stars!
