Inside the Mindset of a Real Network Engineer
অনেকেই মনে করেন একজন network engineer এর কাজ শুধু device configure করা বা কোনো link down হলে সেটা up করা।
কিন্তু সময়ের সাথে একটা জিনিস বুঝেছি—real network engineering শুরু হয় তখন, যখন problem টা চোখে দেখা যায় না।
কখনো issue routing-এ থাকে, কিন্তু symptom দেখা যায় application-এ। কখনো configuration ঠিক থাকে, তবুও network expected behaviour করে না।
এই কারণেই একজন ভালো network engineer শুধু commands জানে না, সে প্রশ্ন করতে শেখে।
Why is this happening?
What changed?
Where is the actual bottleneck?
প্রতিটা incident একটা নতুন lesson দেয়। আর যত experience বাড়ে, তত বুঝতে পারি troubleshooting, observation আর logical thinking—এগুলোই সবচেয়ে valuable skill।
শেষ পর্যন্ত networking শুধু devices connect করার বিষয় না।
It's about understanding how an entire infrastructure behaves under real-world conditions.
