মিটিং চলার সময় যদি বুঝতে পারেন সবাই আশা করছে আপনি কিছু বলবেন কিংবা যদি মনে হয় আপনার কথা বলতে ইচ্ছে করছে, তাহলে হূট করে কথা বলতে যাবেন না। যে বিষয়ে কথা বলবেন সেই বিষয়ে কয়েকটা পয়েন্ট লিখে ফেলুন। তারপর শুরু করুন। নিশ্চয়তা দিয়ে বলতে পারি, এই কাজটা না করলে আপনি অনবরত অনেক ফালতু কথা বলে যাবেন। ফলে সহকর্মীদের সমর্থন হারাতে হবে। কথার লাগাম টানার একমাত্র উপায় হচ্ছে নির্দিষ্ট কিছু পয়েন্ট লিখে রাখা।
