Whether it’s group work, friendships, or daily life, the people beside you matter. The company you keep determines the path you choose.

Surround yourself with those who inspire, not drain you.

Choose wisely. Peer influence is real.

Remember: সৎ সঙ্গে স্বর্গবাস, অসৎ সঙ্গে সর্বনাশ।

Those who know me know how much the sound of a sneeze icks me, especially when it’s uncovered!

The moment it happens, my brain goes:
🚨 CODE RED! 🚨

I pause the lesson and send the student straight off to clean up. Only after the sneezing culprit has scrubbed up, rinsed, and bathed in sanitizer can I breathe again and continue teaching.

Sneezing is natural, but spreading germs is public enemy number one in my class!

Always cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your elbow.

Say “Excuse me”. It’s polite and good manners.

Wash your hands and mouth right after. It’s part of basic etiquette.

Let’s make our school and home a NO GERMS ZONE!

Talking in Class: A Small Act, A Big Impact

When two students whisper or talk during class, it may seem harmless to them. But in reality, it creates chaos. It distracts not only the teacher but also every other student who is trying to focus. One moment of careless chatter can waste several minutes of everyone’s valuable learning time.

This is not just about school. In life, disrupting others while they are working or speaking shows a lack of respect. It makes it harder for everyone to move forward together. Just as in a meeting, a workplace, or even at home, when one person talks over others, everyone loses the chance to learn or grow.

The lesson is simple:

Respect the space whether it’s a classroom or a workplace.

Value other people’s time as much as your own.

Choose self-control because discipline in small moments builds character in bigger moments of life.

Talking at the wrong time may feel small, but small habits shape the kind of person you become. Do you want to be remembered as the one who disturbed others, or the one who inspired others to focus and succeed?

Economics is everywhere because life is all about choices.

Every day, we make decisions: what to buy, how to spend our time, what goals to chase. But have you ever wondered why we can’t have everything we want? That’s where Economics comes in. It’s the study of how people, businesses, and nations use limited resources to meet unlimited wants. From deciding the price of mangoes in the market to shaping the growth of an entire country, Economics helps us understand the world around us.

Stay tuned as we explore more about this fascinating subject!

After completing my O Levels, I discovered meditation, and it completely changed the way I approached studying. Practising mindfulness and deep breathing helped me improve my concentration, focus, and memory. I was able to learn more efficiently, retain information longer, and even today, I can recall entire pages from my A-Level Economics books. Meditation not only made studying easier but also made the learning process more enjoyable, showing me how a calm and focused mind can lead to better results.

I encourage every student to give meditation a try. Even just a few minutes each day can help calm your mind, improve focus, and make studying more effective. It doesn’t require any special equipment, just a quiet space and a willingness to pause and breathe. Over time, meditation can help you handle stress, remember what you learn, and approach challenges with confidence. By making it a daily habit, you’ll not only become a better student but also feel more balanced and energized in your everyday life.

Happy Teacher’s Day!

Some messages reach your heart at exactly the right time. For the last 9 years, without fail, this wonderful mother has wished me on Teacher’s Day. Her child, from my very first batch, graduated 4 years ago, and they now live in a different country, yet she still remembers me every year. This batch is very special to me and will always be close to my heart. I practically grew up along with them. After a tough day at work yesterday, her message made me teary and gave me the encouragement to keep going. I don't share appreciative messages from students or parents, but after yesterday, I just had to share this one. I am so ever grateful for moments like these that remind me why I love what I do.
Teachers, too, need appreciation. It truly makes all the difference! Let’s take a moment today to appreciate the teachers in our lives! 🩵

Your A-Level subjects don’t just decide the next two years, they also decide what doors open for you at university.

Students often make mistakes: following friends, taking subjects without O-level basics, ignoring university requirements, chasing ‘easy A’s, or choosing under pressure. These choices can lead to stress and wasted effort instead of success.

🌟 For students: Pick subjects that match your strengths, interests, and future goals.
🌟 For parents: Support your child’s true strengths instead of pressuring them into subjects just for grades or prestige. When students enjoy their subjects, they perform better and stay motivated.

Focus on long-term growth, not just short-term grades.

A smart choice now = a smoother journey later.

Confused about which A-Level subjects to choose?

Here are some tried-and-tested subject combinations that open doors to Medicine, Engineering, Business, and more!

Choose wisely as your A-Levels are the first step to your dream career.

Choosing your A-Level subjects is a big decision. It can shape your university options, career path, and even how much you enjoy studying. Some subjects, like Math, keep doors open across Science, Business, and Economics. Others, like Biology + Chemistry for Medicine or Physics + Math for Engineering, are must-haves. For Accounting/Finance, Math with Accounting or Economics is the best choice, while for Law and Social Sciences, subjects like English, History, and Sociology are helpful but not compulsory. The best choice is the one that matches your strengths, interests, and future goals because your subjects should work for YOU.
