𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐈𝐔𝐁𝟑𝟔𝟎) successfully hosted the 𝐏𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 mentoring session at Independent University, Bangladesh, featuring 𝐀𝐥𝐯𝐢 𝐍𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐦 𝐍𝐚𝐟𝐢, 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 & 𝐂𝐄𝐎 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐟𝐲.

During the session, selected startup teams gained valuable insights into how startups operate, how business ideas can be refined, and how founders can effectively pitch their ventures to investors, companies, and stakeholders.

Participants actively engaged in an interactive mentoring and Q&A session, where students asked thoughtful questions about entrepreneurship, business strategies, and real-world startup challenges. Alvi Nizam Nafi shared practical experiences from his own journey, offering guidance on how founders can develop strong strategies and build sustainable businesses.

The session created an engaging learning environment and provided participants with meaningful exposure to the startup ecosystem and the art of pitching business ideas with clarity and confidence.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 to 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗱. 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗸 𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗯 on being elevated to IEEE Senior Member Grade by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

The IEEE Senior Member Grade is awarded to professionals with over 10 years of experience who have demonstrated significant technical excellence, leadership, and impactful contributions in IEEE-designated fields.

𝗗𝗿. 𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗯 serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of CSE and Director of IUB360 at Independent University, Bangladesh. This prestigious recognition reflects his sustained academic contributions and professional standing in the global engineering community.

“Pitch Perfect” is an exclusive offline mentoring session designed to help shortlisted teams refine their startup ideas and prepare investor-ready pitches under the guidance of Alvi Nizam Nafi, Founder & CEO of Bimafy and IUB alumnus.

In this session, teams will strengthen idea validation, structure compelling pitch decks, and prepare for jury evaluation as part of the IUB360 incubation pathway.
